A beautiful brand new log home located in the gated community of Rainbow Falls, at 4000' elevation, an abundance of wildlife, nature flowers and a breathtaking view of the beautiful mountains of the Nantahala National Forest in Western North Carolina. Our home is located within 2 miles of Appalachian Trail. Common area with 2 acres of walking trails to the falls. "It's not just a community... it's a lifestyle."
Inside the home the warmth of the log walls and the high vaulted ceiling create an immediate sense of peace and comfort. Nearly 3,800 sq. ft., the Home feels just right. Small enough to be cozy, but big enough for everyone. It's the perfect spot for celebrating a quiet anniversary or hosting a family celebration.
After a fun-filled day you'll love hanging out on the Log Home's wrap-around porch. Rockers invite you to savor the lingering warmth of the sun as you enjoy a cool drink, recount the day's adventures with friends and family, and watch the sun set over the mountains.
Two and a half hours from Atlanta, Georgia and one and a half hours from Asheville, North Carolina, our home has convenient access yet feels like another world. Centrally located in between Franklin and Murphy, it's an easy drive to: Asheville, Nantahala, Highlands, Cashiers, Dillsboro, Maggie Valley and Cherokee.
Base all your activities from this home. Hiking, waterfalls, rafting, biking, gem mining, canoing/kayaking, shopping, restaurants, Cherokee Casino! Or, simply relax, read a book and rejuvenate your soul!
Franklin also is home to the Little Tennessee River Greenway, one of more than a thousand such trails snaking their way across America turning old canals, abandoned railbeds and forgotten riverbanks into green recreational corridors. You can walk or bike for miles along the paved Greenway in Franklin.
Come for a visit & make new memories!
