Baker, the Cascades, and miles of the open water of Puget Sound.

Sit in the solarium and watch the eagles fly right overhead or fish in the water below you. Virtually every room has a spectacular view of the water and mountains. No need for window coverings to block the view--it is totally private.

Situated on a quiet residential street the house offers a secluded setting with a green belt on one side and a house set back from view on the other.  You have true privacy.

This light, open floor plan features spectacular views from almost every room, vaulted ceilings and built-ins throughout. Living room with satellite TV and gas fireplace opens to the solarium and deck.  Master bedroom opens to deck, has large walk-in closet and built-in dresser and satellite TV.

Spacious master bath with double vanity and shower for two.  Guest room or 2nd bedroom with built-in Murphy bed.  Third bedroom is very large with queen sized bed, bistro table with four chairs and opens to the deck.

Use of Beach Club Facilities at Port Ludlow Resort located about a half mile away.  Facilities include outdoor Olympic sized pool, heated indoor lap pool, locker rooms with saunas, indoor Jacuzzi, tennis courts, TV room, ping pong, fitness center, children's play area, squash court and marina with kayak rentals.

If you plan to use the Beach Club facilities be sure to bring beach towels. Towels provided are for house use only.

From Port Ludlow you can hop a ferry to Seattle and tour the water front and famous Pike Place Market or drive about an hour to Port Angeles and take the ferry to Victoria and spend the day in this charming city with a visit to the world famous Butchart Gardens. Also Whidbey Island, Hurricane Ridge, the rain forest, Poulsbo, and Port Gamble are great trips.

Historic Port Townsend is about 30 minutes away with antique stores, many talented artists offering their wares and lots of charming shops. Farmer's Markets are held every Saturday during the spring and summer. Visit Bremerton and tour the naval shipyards or the Undersea Naval Museum in Keyport.

There are many options if you are adventurous. Or, you may want to stay close by and hike the trails, walk to the marina and look at the boats or stop by the Inn and have a glass of wine or just stay in and enjoy the view.

June-Sept   $1,900 per week   1-week minimum.

$500 refundable security/damage deposit holds reservations (short-term rentals). Nonrefundable $100 cleaning fee.

Rental fees subject to 10.3% Washington State Lodging Tax

 House Rental Rules and Regulations

Please read rules and regulations carefully.  Sign, date and return with your deposit and first payment within 5 business days of making reservations.

 1.    Check-in Time is after 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time and Check-out is 12:00 noon

 2.    This is a Nonsmoking unit.

 3.    Pets may be permitted under certain circumstances.  A $100 pet deposit is required.

 4.    Damage/Reservation Deposit:  A damage/reservation deposit of $500 is required (for short-term rentals).  This must be received within five (5) business days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival.  We inventory and inspect the property before and after your stay. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

 a.    No damage is done to house or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

b.    All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in garbage bags and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. 

c.    No linens are lost or damaged.

d.    Hot and cold water faucets turned off on washing machine.

e.    Key is left on the dining room table and house is left locked.

f.     No early check-in or late check-out.

g.    No items are missing

h.    No violations to house rules

i.      No excessive cleaning is necessary

 5.    Payment :  The first payment  is due along with the $500 damage/reservation deposit within five (5) business days of booking the reservation.  The second  payment is due 60 days before arrival.  The final payment is due 30 days before arrival. These payments will be applied toward the rent.  Please make payments in the form of bank money orders, cashier's checks or personal checks payable to:

These advanced payments are not damage deposits.

6.    Cancellations:   For cancellations made 90 days prior to arrival payment will be fully refunded. Cancellations made between 89 and 61 days prior to arrival there is a fee of $50. Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival there is a fee equal to one night's rent.  There are no refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. Travel insurance is advised.

 7.    Toilets and Drains: Tenant agrees not to flush items that have the ability to cause or contribute to plumbing stoppages, including but not limited to the following items that have been found to contribute to plumbing stoppages:  paper towels, sanitary napkins, tissues, tampons, condoms, plastic wrappers, cigarettes, Q-tips, disposable sanitary wipes, baby wipes, cleaning wipes, and grease.

 8.    Maximum Occupancy:  The maximum number of overnight guests is limited to ten (10) persons. 

 9.    Inclusive Fees:  Rates include a one-time linen/towel setup and use of Beach Club facilities. 

 10. Beach Towels:  We suggest you bring beach towels.  We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house. 

 11. Rate Changes:  Rates are subject  to change without notice.  Once reservations are confirmed rates will not change.

 12. Falsified Reservations:  Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.

 13. Written Exceptions:  Any exceptions to the above-mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

 14. Telephone:  There are no telephones in the house.  You may want to bring your cell phone.
