Berkshires, Lake Buel, CLOSED TILL SPRING in Great Barrington

Lake Buel is a two mile long jewel in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, 7 miles from Great Barrington. It is near Stockbridge, Tanglewood, and all the sights and sounds and scenery (not to mention restaurants) you’ve heard of that draw one to this area.

For rent is a cute, 6-room-long Country Cottage offering LOTS OF PRIVACY with a view of the Lake from each of its pine-paneled rooms: Livingroom, 18' Lounge (family room), Dining room, well equipped Kitchen, QUEEN Bedroom, TWIN Bedroom, remarkably spacious Bathroom with a roomy shower, plus a Half Bath. In the Lounge is a "hi-rise" trundle couch which opens to two TWIN BEDS.

Four would be a comfortable fit, but six is our maximum.

Linens are not provided, except for kitchen towels and bath mats, but blankets and quilts are. 

A door from the Lounge opens to a 26' wooden deck, that itself overlooks the Lake, and where you'll find 2 chaises, deck chairs, an umbrella table, and the gas grill. The dock, which you may share with the owner (who lives next door) is just down the stone steps to the shore, via the owner's deck. Near the dock not 1, but 2 canoes are stored for your pleasure.

Pets are not allowed, and there is no smoking on the property.

NOTE: Rent includes Gas, Phone with unlimited long distance in the U.S and Canada, Satellite TV, DVD, Stereo, High Speed Wireless Internet, and cleaning fee. Electricity is extra.

The Little House is comfortably nestled on a quiet old-fashioned country dirt road that beckons one to walk (or bike) along it, if only to see what lies around the bend. 

Great Barrington, only 7 miles away, is famous for great shopping and its many what-kind-of-food-are-we-hungy-for-tonight restaurants.  Stockbridge, a 20 minute drive, is the gateway to Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum, Red Lion Inn, Country Curtains, Berkshire Theatre Festval, Shakespeare & Co.
