Sandpiper Condo on El Paseo in Palm Desert in Palm Desert

Our Palm Desert condo is single level, 1,000 square feet, two bedrooms, two baths located in the famous Sandpiper Condominium development at the corner of El Paseo and Hwy. 74. As an architectural landmark, the Sandpiper Condominiums take you back to the late 1950's and 1960's styling. Our condo has been completely updated with a laid back Hawaiian feel while trying to
preserve the architect's original design. Improvements include travertine floors, completely new bathrooms with travertine showers (no bathtub), onyx kitchen countertops and new appliances including Advantium high speed oven for cool cooking on hot days. An open kitchen and living room floorplan with vaulted ceilings combined with over 20 feet of west facing sliding glass doors/windows give you a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, including the flowers and green grass of the common area. Enjoy your favorite drink while watching the beautiful desert sunset. The pool is heated to 85 degrees (29c) minimum year round.

The fully furnished condo has a California King bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest room. Each bedroom has cable television with a DVD player. The living room has a couch and a double chair for plenty of seating capacity. We have installed digital cable in the front room. You can watch HBO or enjoy over 40 digital music channels that can be played through the stereo system. A DVD/CD player is installed in case you want to play your own music or movies. An Ipod cable is provided to play music through the stereo.

For your use, we have installed a computer that is hooked up to high speed cable internet that also has wireless access. Use our computer or bring your laptop to surf the net and check e-mails!

Unlimited long distant calling to anywhere in the USA or Canada is included.

The kitchen contains all the dishware and cutlery needed to create a feast on those days when you are not dining at one of the famous local restaurants. Also included is a dishwasher, full size washer and dryer, new linens, pool towels and pool rafts/floats.

The pool area has a Ramada (covered patio) with a built-in gas BBQ, sink and refrigerator. Plenty of seating area for entertaining.

You are less than a five minute walk to the corner of El Paseo and Hwy 74, the beginning of the world famous El Paseo Shopping District, which features over 300 world-class shops, clothing boutiques, art galleries, jewelers and restaurants. Also known as the Rodeo Drive of the Desert, El Paseo has a wide spectrum of stores from William Sonoma, Sak's 5 Avenue to small boutiques. Restaurants include Tommy Bahamas, Picanha, California Pizza Kitchen, and Sullivan's SteakHouse. Starbucks and Vons Grocery Store are located across the street from the condo. Park your car and walk everywhere!

Palm Desert and the surrounding Palm Springs Resort area has over 125 unique golf courses and is world famous as one of the most popular golf and vacation destination in the USA. The area is also known as the "golf capital of the world."

There are numerous Indian Casinos in the surrounding area. Try your hand at Vegas style Black Jack, slots or many other table games.

Please check our calendar for available dates. Minimum stay is one week, except for the months of February and March which require a full month rental. Weekly rate is $800. Monthly rate is $3,000. A cleaning fee of $75 will be required in addition to the rental rates. No pets allowed. No smoking.
