Spectacular Mediterranean View 

This spectacular 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 800+ sq ft. new white tiled apartment overlooks the stunning Mediterranean Sea.  With a balcony large enough for a small party, one can look straight out over the town, past the Byzantine era fortress and onto the azure water.  If you look right, you will see the medieval "Old Town," and to your left are the mountains and the coast as far as the eye can see.  The town of Scalea itself is full of friendly people, great food and reasonable prices.  Pompeii is 2 hours to the north (you can take the train or drive) and the island of Sicily is to the south.  If you're looking for a gorgeous, warm, sunny and relaxing vacation with a great spacious place to stay, then give our place a try.

Scalea has an "Old Town" which was built in Medieval times.  It makes for a fun walk and on the way up, you can stop to eat and drink. At the top of the Old Town, there is a museum which boasts ancient artifacts from the surrounding area

La Playa is a restaurant in town which has the best spaghetti and clams you'll ever have!

Deja Vu is a fun bar

On the beach is a Byzantine fortress which is open for exploration.

Two hours to the north is Pompeii and Naples 

A half hour to the south is beautiful Diamante with an esplanade
