Charming Maranacook Lake Home in Winthrop

Enjoy lake-front living and the sounds of loon calls from the tranquil settings of this summer home located on Maranacook Lake, 15 miles from the capital city of Augusta.  Maranacook Lake offers 6 miles of boating, fishing, and water recreation, all just steps from the door of this charming camp.

Relax on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoy quality time recharging, go for a kayak trip, or swim in the fresh Maine water.  Enjoy grilling outside or make meals using the fully applianced kitchen.

This cottage boasts cathedral ceilings and knotty pine walls which make for a relaxing place to spend the evenings.  There is a hide-away loft perfect for the kids to have their own private space for sleeping and playing.

The home sleeps 6 comfortably, with a bedroom on the first floor containing a full-size bed, two twin beds in the loft area for the kids, as well as a pull out sofa in the living room.  There is even room for two more, if you were to bring your own air mattress.

If you have your own boat, the local boat launch is just a mile down the road where you can easily launch your boat and dock it at the camp’s own private dock.  You will also find a kayak and a row boat already at the dock for your use.

Bean and Freeport outlet shopping and the beautiful Maine coast both in under an hour.  The unparalleled beauty of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are approximately 2 hours away and make for a perfect day trip
