Cozy cabin retreat in Munds Park in Munds Park

I made my sojourn to this Munds Park cabin with the highest of expectations. I have not been disappointed. Immediately upon arriving, I was captivated by the natural setting of the cabin. It being set back down a quaint rustic driveway gave me the feeling of "nestling" in to the cabin. Surrounding the perimeter, a wooden deck and walkway enhances the natural feel, and when I first entered the house, I was delighted to see a well-appointed and cozy place to call home. Hardwood floors smartly grace the kitchen and entryway, while the stainless-steel appliances provide a wonderfully aesthetic compliment. The highlight: a wood-burning stove that more than amply provided the natural warmth and ambience one would expect from a cabin in the woods. For my dog, a large, fenced in back yard gave me the peace of mind to let him roam freely and unfettered while I took advantage of the amenities inside the cabin or in Flagstaff. It did not take me long to figure out that, while the restaurants in Flagstaff leave a hungry traveller wanting, throwing a nice thick steak on the grill at my cabin sufficed more than amply. Having a gas (propane) stove/oven and a well-provided for set of cookware allowed me to prepare sides and the dishwasher allowed for easy cleanup. High-end appliances in a throwback setting was ideal. The bedroom allowed to hang up my clothes, and I took advantage of the comfy bed with my wife for many a great night's sleep. The cabin was not lacking in activities as well--books, board games, chess, DVDs and satellite TV only made my stay more enjoyable the day my wife wished to just "stay home". And that's how I looked at this cabin--a home that I felt so welcomed in that I felt it was mine. While I was told that Munds Park is really "hopping" in the summertime, I had no complaints with the peaceful solitude, beautiful night skies, and romantic fires I took advantage of every day.

If your destination is skiing, solitude, Flagstaff, relief from the heat--I enthusiastically recommend this Munds Park cabi to you. I will think back on this experience fondly, and am thrilled that my wife forced me to take so many pictures while vacationing here. I have taken advantage of many bed and breakfasts and travelled to many areas of the country, and can say without question that this cabin most genuinely reflected what a true peaceful vacation is all about. I cannot wait to take advantage of the opportunity to come back here and visit again.
