Woodland Camp.....a Maine Connection with your vacation
Come relax and enjoy this two bedroom and loft waterfront cottage 50 feet from Great pond inBelgradelakes,Maine. The cottage is facing west for maximum sunsets and only a few hundred yards north of the Ernest Thompson family cottage (author of On Golden Pond).
Location:GreatPond-BelgradeLakes. The cottage is approximately a 3.5 hour drive fromBoston, 90 minutes fromPortland and offers an inland location only an hour to coastal locations.
Price: Weekly $850-950 July to mid September
Weekly $750 May and June, mid September to October 15, $125 per day with a 3 day minimum
State ofMainerental tax: 7%
Directions: From interstate 95 take exit 31A. Follow route 27 north to Christy’s store that is on your right. (go straight thru the yellow blinking light) Continue 2 miles on route 27 and take a right onPoint Road. FollowPoint Road to the end (1.8 miles). Turn left onto a dirt road for .8 of a mile and you will have reached WOODLAND CAMPS.

Check in: 2-5pm: special arrangements for late arrivals
Check out: 9:30am: strictly enforced for cleaning purposes.
All weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday

- These lakes are famous for fishing…bass, trout, salmon
- An 18 hole golf course , within walking distance of the lakes. Great walking course ,too.
- Woodland camps are not far from Hallowell (antiques),Augusta(state capital, great museum). Auctions and yard sales are part of our culture and very popular.
- Freeport, home of the famous LLBean’s is about 45minutes away by interstate 95.
- It is an easy drive to our “rockbound coast”-Camden, Rockland Boothbay,Bar Harbor.
- A natural location for exercise-swimming, hiking, sailing, canoeing and other water sports.
- A fenced in play area for the young folks. The quiet back roads surrounding Woodland Camps lend themselves to bicycles and walking
- Terrific time to see moose and deer after a long winter
- In the Fall, gorgeous days and cool nights-leaf peeking

The Belgrade Lakes Area has much to offer those who choose to look around. Of course the lake provides swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing/kayaking. Rental boats available on the lake. Local shopping at gift shops and the local grocery store, as well as trips to “town” for movies, libraries, etc. Hiking is available at all levels, some great hill and mountain trails within 15 minutes of the camp. A great golf course is handy by, as well as many others within a short drive. Day trips to the coast of Maine are within reach, such as Boothbay Harbor, Camden and Rockland, and of course Freeport for the L.L. Bean shoppers. Summer theatre available in Monmouth, Lakewood, and Brunswick, among others.

Standard arrival and departure day is Saturday, however exceptions made for multiple week renters, or off season rentals. Canoes and kayak available at $20 per day, $80 per week.
