Pickerel Lake Vacation Rental in Newaygo

New 4 bedroom 2 bath home, with an incredible view of the 318 acre all sports Pickerel Lake.  Pickerel Lake is one of four lakes in the Chain of Lakes.  All together there is almost 700 acres of water.

Weekend rates available.  PayPal (credit cards) accepted. 

House is ramp accessible. 

No smoking and No pets - PLEASE.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, cookware and utensils.  Including a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker and a George Foreman grill. 

The main floor has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and walks out to the deck with a beautiful view of the lake.  The second bedroom has a twin size bed.  The lower level also has two bedrooms.  The downstairs' master bedroom  has a queen size bed and walks out to the patio.  The second bedroom downstairs has a full size bed.  The bedrooms are all furnished with sheets, pillows, blankets and comforters.  Two air matteress and a tent are also included.

All towels and linens are included for use, including beach towels.

General amenities include, washer/dryer, TV with DVD player, Dish Network Satellite, DVD's, books, cards,  various board games, a gas grill on the deck and a fire pit over looking the lake.  The main floor has a stereo system with CD player and XM radio.  Deck is equipped with speakers so bring your CDs or Ipod to fully enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the deck.

It's just a short walk down the hill to the lake where our paddle boat and canoe await your usage.  The area by the dock has a sandy bottom and is perfect for swimming.  Feel free to bring your own boat as the public boat launch is just about a 1/2 mile from the house.  

All sports Pickerel Lake has a public boat launch and some of the best lake fishing in the county.  It is located just north of the city of Newaygo and a short drive from Fremont.  The Muskegon River is a short 3 mile drive for lots of fun summer recreation including tubing, canoeing and some of the best fly fishing in the state. 
The house is the perfect setting for a family vacation or a weekend get-away.  Approximately 1100 sq ft can make for comfortable accommodations for multiple families. 

Very close to Newaygo's Camp Henry, Camp Newaygo, the Little Switzerland Resort and Briar Hill golf course.

Two adult bikes are also included for use.

Newaygo offers access to many different activities including shopping, dining, swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, tubing, biking, hiking, antiquing, mini-golf, and tennis.

Michigan's Adventure is about 45 minutes from house

Croton and Hardy Dams about 20 minutes from house

Lake Michigan about an hour from house

Grand Rapids is 50 minutes south.

$1000 per 7 day week, $500 three day stay minumum

$1500 for any 7 days including the July 4th weekend.

$350 refundable deposit is due to secure reservation, converts to security deposit upon check in.  Deposit refunded within 2 weeks of check out.
