vacation rental description
Perfect for a couple seeking peace and quiet as well as for a family seeking a place to have a family reunion. Our home has been both a honeymoon escape and vacation center for families. Lovely airy home, recently renovated, on double wooded lot, with yard big enough to play soccer, volleyball, badminton, and paths through manicured woods. As you walk in you are enchanted by a family room that is light and airy with high ceiling, sky lights, windows looking out into the trees, and a sliding glass door leading to a deck with a grill. As pretty in the snows of winter as in the green leaves of summer. Plenty of room in the clean, new basement for children to play, even roller blade! Large doll house and old piano available for rainy days. Garage, large driveway with extra pull in space for two cars.
Brand new energy efficient windows and furnace.
Playpen, crib, and double stroller available.
Located in the Historic District close to Captain's Row. A bike ride away from Grays's Beach and its famous natural boardwalk for watching sunsets.

activities and attractions in Yarmouth Port Cape Cod
You can't miss with our house...We are 30 minutes from the Cape Cod Canal and 40 minutes to Provincetown, so we are very centrally located. Only 15 minutes away from Hyannis (depending on traffic...if you are taking a boat to the islands or whale-watching, give yourself extra time)We are minutes away from bayside beaches (especially Gray's Beach, and our favorites, Mayflower Beach and Corporation Beach: Both are great for small children), or Atlantic beaches, especially Smuggler's Beach and the Dennis Beaches. Close by are Scargo Tower over-looking the entire Cape and Sesuit Harbor with its famous lobster sandwiches and other delights. Close to artists' studios and antique dealerships on 6A. There are lots of Walking Trails and Bike Trails. Ten minutes from Cape Cod Rail Trailhead. Our favorite is the bike trail on the dunes near Provincetown. Up to date Bike trail maps, restaurant suggestions and menus, etc. are available in our kitchen. Easy access to grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, etc. Whale-watching boats leave from Barnstable, an easy 10 minute drive west on 6A. Easy access to the Melody Tent in Hyannis and Cape Playhouse in Brewster. Route 28 provides lots of kid activities (miniature golf, trampolines, kid friendly restaurants), while 6A offers antiquing, art, pottery, up-scale restaurants, and the famous Mr. Frosty's.
Or....just hang out at the house and unravel!!!
