Spruce Lodge Resort, off Hwy 65, Grand Mesa in Cedaredge

This wilderness lodge rests on 7 acres in the Grand Mesa Nat'l Forest, 1 mile east of the Grand Mesa Visitor Center, off Scenic and Historic Byway, Hwy 65, 14 miles from Cedaredge, CO.  Our cabins have fireplaces, kitchens or kitchenettes, charcoal grills and fire rings.  All cabins have microwaves, toaster, coffee pot, and refrigerator, picnic table and chairs. French doors open to large decks (except 11-P cabin).  Linens are supplied on queen bed; we ask you to bring sleeping bags and pillows for futons, if possible.  Minimal kitchen supplies are provided.  Lodge overlooks 2 fish-filled lakes, 300 lakes on the largest flat top mesa in the world.  We have 11 cabins, can sleep a total of 63 people.  Fly into Grand Junction or Montrose; both are 1 hour away.

Spruce Lodge is a beautiful wilderness lodge on top of the word's largest flat top mesa.  We have a 65-seat restaurant (call for seasonal restaurant hours), a lounge, 42" screen TV in lobby, coin-op pool table, two hot tubs overlooking lake.  Several of our cabins overlook lakes.  We reserve for weddings and receptions and have several beautiful spots for weddings.  This is a gorgeous place on earth for retreats, and family reunions.

We rent snowmobiles, snowshoes in the winter, kayaks, canoes and hydro bikes in the summer.  The longest groomed snowmobile trail in U.S. is just around the corner (SP Trail).  A groomed X-ctry ski trail is just 100 yards away from the lodge.  Nationally acclaimed hiking trails are close; the famous Crag's Crest hiking trail nearby.  Fish, ice-fish in trout-filled lakes, hiking, enjoy mountain biking, ATV trails, x-cty skiing and snowshoeing, snowmobiling, bird watching, boating (no wake), hot-tubbing, playing pool.  Sled dog races start in December.  Famous Nordic X-ctry ski trails.  Take an OUTSTANDING winery tour within 60-miles radius.  Deer Creek Golf Course (18-hole) is 20 minutes away.  Famous Monument is in Grand Junction, 1 hour away. 

We have cabins that sleep 2-11 people.  Rates are BASED ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY.  $10 per person over 6 years old, over two people.  $15 charge per night for one dog.  Cabins may be rented nightly or weekly.  There is a $20 per night discount for paying cash.  CASH PRICES: 4 person cabin WD night $120, WE night $140, weekly $840.  6 person cabin WD night $145, WE night $165, weekly $1015.  11 person cabin (two rooms, 6 beds, 1 bath--we do not count extra people in this cabin) WD night $275, WE night $295, weekly $1925.
