Villa w/ 7 Bedrooms - 7½ Bathrooms - Sleeps 18 w/ Pool Jacuzzi
If you would like to rent a villa that’s truly elegant, deliciously
secluded and incredibly spacious, you won’t find any place better
than Casa Yardena. Just imagine eighty feet of private sandy beach
on
the Caribbean, thirty foot ceilings in the living room and fourteen
foot ceilings in the five air conditioned bedrooms plus guesthouse
all with private large bathrooms. Add to this a huge 15’ X 36’
swimming pool, satellite Television, Jacuzzi and immense balconies
with ocean views ....what have you got? CASA YARDENA!
The décor of this villa is absolutely outstanding. Beautiful tile
floors, marble bathrooms, huge windows and sliding glass doors to
facilitate a view of the ocean from all rooms, gracious Spanish
archways and fabulous outdoor gardens…a beach house with totally
luxury.
Yardena is located on Soliman Bay which is an area of Tankah on the
gorgeous Caribbean just 75 miles south of the Cancun airport. It has
aquamarine water, white sand beaches and two great restaurants
located within a mile. If you want more variety, the caretakers can
prepare a fabulous Mexican meal for you in the villa or you can
drive to Tulum, Akumal or Puerto Aventuras for a multitude of
restaurants, shops, dive shops, etc. For entertainment you can visit
the fresh water lagoon called Xelha for outrageous snorkeling or an
eco park called Xcaret which is like a Mayan Disney World with
dolphins to frolic with, caves to swim through, restaurants, lots of
ocean and lots of exhibits and shows to enjoy.
The Mayan ruins of Tulum are only 10 minutes away and not to be
missed as well as the gorgeous dry caves called Aktun Chen. If you
have some folks with you who like to dance you can go to the
nightclub at Hacienda Dona Isabel for a great evening on the town.
We could go on and on about all the fun to be had in the area, but
well wait until you arrive at the villa, read the guest information
book and then decide for yourselves what you would like to do each
day. You might decide just to lie in the hammocks and fix some
margaritas!
Whatever you decide, Yardena is a great place to call home during
your vacation.

Things to do and see in Akumal. Don't miss...
Aktun Chen Caves - 12 km (3 miles) south of Akumal. Fabulous!
Really
worth seeing - these caves were opened to the public in January,
1998, after 4 years of developing an underground lighting system,
pathways, etc. The two-hour guided tour through caves estimated to
be
5 million years old and the jungle filled with monkeys is truly an
adventure and feast for the eyes.
Xel Ha- 17 km (10 miles) south of Xpu-Ha - A "landmark on the
Mexican coast". A beautiful lagoon with a restricted snorkeling
area.
Many gift shops & eating areas.
Hidden Worlds - 18 km (11 miles) south of Xpu-Ha. Snorkel or scuba
dive in the world's largest cenote park. Cenotes (seh-no-tay) are
freshwater swimming holes found only on the Yucatan Peninsula. Tanks
and weights for scuba diving and all snorkel gear (including wet
suits for both), professional guides and transportation in custom
built "jungle mobiles" are included in the price of all tours.
Hidden Worlds is open daily from 9-5 pm. Tours are lead all day
everyday. No reservations are required.
Tankah - 28 km (17 miles) south of Xpu-Ha
Don't miss "Casa Cenote" ... a palapa restaurant on the beach with
great food. Swim in the Caribbean or snorkel in a beautiful fresh
water lagoon (cenote). Watch for the big yellow sign on the highway
and make a left onto dirt road - drive to the beach area then turn
left and it will be about another 1/2 mile. One of our favorites!
Tulum - 32km (20 miles) south of Xpu-Ha. Mayan Ruins on the
Caribbean
Sea, a must for a first time visitor. We highly recommend going
early
(9 to 10am) to beat the heat and all the tour buses from Cancun. We
also suggest using a guide for your tour through the ruins. There
are
many shops, some good/some bad (bargaining is acceptable and
expected). There is a gas station here.
Coba- 42km (25 miles) west of Tulum. Largest Mayan Ruins in the
area. Still in the discovery stages, Coba has pyramids over 100 feet
high and the Mayan settlement covers an area of 50 sq. miles. Be
prepared to walk up to five miles but the excavations you will see
make the walk well worth the trip. There is an Archaeological Club
Med in the area with food and a nice cool swimming pool to use after
you have walked the ruins.
Another magnificent beach - although no longer private and pristine
Xpu-Ha remains one of the Riviera Maya's most exquisite beaches.
After you have passed the “Club Maeva” entrance, go about 1/4 of a
mile more (heading north) and turn right at the sign that says “La
Playa”. If you have drinks or snacks, the restaurant on the beach
has
umbrellas and beach chairs for customers; you can also walk north or
south on this long, half-moon shaped bay.
Puerto Aventuras - 10 km (12 miles) north of Xpu-Ha. An impressive
development with a marina, boutiques, a 9 hole golf course, and a
number of restaurants with fare varying from Italian to sushi to
grilled steaks and seafood. You can also swim with the dolphins
at 'Dolphin Discovery'.
Xcaret - 30km (18 miles) north of Xpu-Ha.
$50.00 U.S. TO SPEND THE DAY with everything included except food,
drink and swimming with the dolphins. Snorkel the underground river
thru sunlit caves, enjoy the gardens, authentic Mayan Village, Horse
Show and Butterflies. Great facilities- palapas with comfortable
beach chairs- paddle boats- floats- and a very good restaurant and
bar.
Playacar - 35km (21 miles) north of Xpu-Ha.
A beautiful resort with a WORLD CLASS 18 HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF
COURSE. A wonderful tennis court and swimming pool for those who
don't wish to play golf. Meet in the clubhouse for a scrumptious
lunch.
Playa del Carmen - 37km (22 miles) north of Xpu-Ha.
Next door to Playacar, Playa del Carmen serves as a port for cruise
ships and ferries, which run back and forth all day to COZUMEL( great
diving). Great shopping on Quinta Avenida - it's a largely
pedestrian
zone with a multitude of restaurants, shopping, live music and
entertainment.
Puerto Morelos - 70km (42 miles) north of Xpu-Ha.
If the timing is right for you, stop here on your way to or from the
airport (30km north) for lunch at "LOS PELICANOS" - great margaritas
and fresh seafood in a huge palapa restaurant on the beach in a quiet
fishing village.
