Sightseeing attractions are as follows: Montpelier State Capital, shops and Saturday Market Day; Green Mountain Long Trailheads access 45 min.; Ben and Jerry's Icecream Factory, Cabot Creamery, and numerous lakes, state park recreational opportunities. Location is in North Central Vermont and therefore accessable to many outstanding attactions with Burlington 1 hr. away.

Winter sports out the front door or 30 min. from Mad River Glen and 1 hr. from Stowe. Many local groomed cross country ski runs in the area. Calais, Vt. is one of the most sought after, friendly communites in the state.

Renters are welcome to paticipate in all Maple Corner Community Activities such as holiday parades, picnics, and fireworks and community waterfront activities.
