This beautiful two bedroom two bath home on John Muir road is set one house back from the waters edge, in the sought after location of orchard bay, it is perfect for a weekend or holiday escape. This home is one of the only “smaller rentals” on this street. Close to Beach Clubs, skiing, shopping and restaurants. 

Our home sleeps four adults comfortably; we also have a brand new futon in the living room that could be used for two more adults or children. There is a clean fold up crib for the baby. One King upstairs, One Queen downstairs, One full-sized futon couch. (This is not a "party home."). 

Kitchen has most needed food essentials (spices, tea, coffee, etc.) and a booster seat for the little one. We have TV with tons of digital cable channels, including many options of On Demand TV, and TiVo in living room, a DVD player and a CD player upstairs. 

Our home has a wall of windows upstairs and downstairs looking through the huge trees to the sparkling waters of Lake Arrowhead and the twinkling lights of the village at night. The fourth of July fireworks are directly in front of our house. Our home has easy lake access, the ALA path is just across the street for wonderful walks along the lake. We have a beach pass that can be used for access to the private beach clubs in the summer. 

We have recently installed new carpet, new beds with cozy down alternative comforters, and a new solid teak futon couch in the living room. Unlike some rentals on the mountain, we provide all linens, which are brand new. Our home is nicely decorated and very clean. Our home has two fireplaces, one upstairs and one downstairs for those crisp winter nights.

We also have a brand new pool table for your enjoyment. There is a barbeque on the wrap-around deck with awesome views, and of course there is a garage for those snowy days. 

Our home has baby gates that can be put up and the upstairs railings are baby proofed with plastic covering so no little ones can fall through. This is our vacation home so you will find the occasional kid drawing on the refrigerator and kids toys! There is also a huge wooden play set in the back with swings. 

We hope you can “come up for air” to our lovely retreat in the mountains!
