Located right in the center of town no need to drive every thing Yachats has to offer is within walking distance, the Ocean only 1 1/2 blocks away, plenty of walking trails along the beach and wooded trails. A large sandy beach and the Yachats River are a few minutes away. Cape Perpetua State Park visible from your unit and is about 4 miles south has miles of hiking trails, picnic tables and spectacular views of the coast line north and south.  Whale watching and agate hunting or just a walk on the beach is a great way to relax and enjoy the clean fresh air. Stay inside and enjoy a stormy day with some board games and quality family time or just quite time with the one you love.  

Yachats is a quaint and friendly community to enjoy the leisurely pace, but also offers wonderful restaurants, live music and great shopping. Usually something always going on at the commons, farmers market, winter fest, big band, plays and more just across the street.

 Florence is about 30 minuet drive south and offers an excellent golf courses, Casino and miles of some of the best sand dunes in the country. The drive between Florence and Yachats is my favorite where you can stop and visit the most photographed lighthouse and the biggest sea lion caves also some of the best agate hunting is along this coastline.

Waldport is 12 minutes drive north and offer great crabbing in the Bay. 

Newport is about 40 minutes north and offers Oregon Coast Aquarium, ripple’s believe it or not and wax museum, Movie Theater, restaurants and boat charter for fishing and whale watching.
