Cathleen's Country Cottage Welcomes Children and Pets! in Julian

Cathleen's Country Cottage is located in a beautiful, wooded neighborhood two miles east of Julian's historic township.  Our vacation home sits on a spacious, corner lot that has a circular driveway, large pet kennels, private parking for recreational vehicles, and many mature oak, pine, and cedar trees. 

The cottage interior includes newer hardwood flooring throughout the bedroom, kitchen, dining, and living room areas.  Many of the cottage's 1924 original windows overlook our fruit tree orchard.  You can use the roomy front deck for outside dining, barbecuing, star-gazing, and birdwatching.  Our neighborhood is perfect for bicycling and taking country strolls.

Our comfortable home accommodates up to six people and their pets.  It is attractively furnished with newer pieces that include a queen-size bed in the bedroom and two full-size sleeping futons in the living room. 

Cathleen's Country Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, electric heating, high-speed Internet service, satellite television, stereo system, DVD/CD players, and local phone service.  The owner provides clean towels and bed linens, firewood for the wood-burning stove and charcoal.

Cathleen's Country Cottage is located near state, national, and county parks with plentiful hiking and riding trails.  Picturesque Anza Borrego Desert is situated just to the east of us.  Beautiful Lake Cuyamaca is available for fishing and paddle-boating within a twenty minute drive to the south.

The historic Julian area is well-known for its goldmine tours, well-preserved historic township, carriage rides, and apple pies.  It is situated in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains just 62 miles east of San Diego.  Urbanites from the populated California coastal areas seek respite in the country beauty of this beautiful old town and Julian area.
