Aloha & thank you for your interest in our air-condtioned  
oceanfront vacation rental home, Hale Ali’i "House of the Chief".   
Hale Ali’i is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated  
group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu,  
Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore  
near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and  
many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately  
45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East  
coast of Oahu;  
where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community  
of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very  
different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With  
hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of  
yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern  
pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The Hale Ali’i "House of the Chief" is an air-conditioned  
direct oceanfront home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers  
impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the  
beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ sf  
living area) two bedroom, two bath home with porcelain tile & marble  
floors throughout.  The Hale Ali’i features a complete, large and  
open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertops, sealed top  
stove/range, microwave hood, side by side fridge, dishwasher, and  
all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals.  The  
living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation  
style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views.  There is a  
queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen size futon in  
the “bonus” Soji (Japanese style) room in addition to a separate  
dining room with seating for six.  The master suite is furnished  
with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a queen size mahogany  
sleigh bed.  The master bath features black marble floors and a  
unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a queen  
size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel.  
Both beds were upgraded in 2006 with new ultra plush pillow top  
mattresses. Both bedrooms have air conditioning & tropical ceiling  
fans although they are rarely  
needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy relaxing on the direct ocean front decks which open up to the  
blue South Pacific ocean only 20 feet away.  Your private deck area  
has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of  
area for sunbathing on the beach or on the grassy yard. Watch  
spectacular sunrises while soaking in a six man sunk-in  
hot tub (in adjacent oceanfront deck). Stroll down the beach to the  
Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and  
swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by  
are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking  
trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort &  
Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa  
Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Come  
enjoy your Hawaii vacation directly on the beach with this North  
Shore oceanfront vacation home.
