CASA CALDESE: Splendor in the Green Hills of Umbria in Perugia

Casa Caldese is a wonderful old stone country house that has been
lovingly restored with all the modern conveniences. The house sits by
itself on a hillside surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields.
Every window boasts a magnificent view of the green hills of Umbria
or the town of Umbertide. There are several attractive terraces on
the grounds and a tennis court that guests are welcome to use, but no
swimming pool.

Casa Caldese contains three apartments, two of which are available to
rent. Each of the apartments faces a different direction and has its
own entrance, so there is a great sense of privacy for all occupants.

The two apartments can be easily combined into one very large
apartment that would sleep up to 10.

Large Apartment
---------------

The large rental apartment (about 100 m2) sleeps up to 4 (6 if you
bring air mattresses and sleeping bags). It has two floors, 2 double
bedrooms, 2 baths (one upstairs with a tub and one downstairs with a
shower), a large fully-equipped country kitchen with a dining table
and a charming living/dining room with fireplace. Outside, with
access from the living room and kitchen, is a large terrace
surrounded by fig trees, sunflower fields, and views of Umbertide and
the green Umbrian hills. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The
guest bedroom has two twin beds, but I will be purchasing a queen bed
for the guest bedroom very soon. There is a CD/Tape stereo system and
a TV with satellite service (including several premium English movie
channels). There is also an extensive library of English novels and
Italian guide books.

Small Apartment
---------------

The small rental apartment (about 50 m2) sleeps up to 4. It has a
large double bedroom with an extra single bed, a single bedroom, one
bath (with shower) and a cozy well-equipped country
kitchen/dining/all-purpose room with a fireplace. The master bedroom
has a queen bed and a small single bed. The single bedroom has a
single bed. There is a TV with local reception and a stereo turntable
with an interesting collection of vinyl records. There are also a few
English novels and Italian guide books.

The two apartments can be easily combined into one large apartment
that would sleep up to 10.

on how close or far away your dates are, how many others are
