Romantic, lovely, 1,200 sq ft, traditional Maine cottage, on two gorgeous private acres of rocky oceanfront with lighthouse views in a very exclusive area. 

The The first floor of the Cottage has living room with fireplace, dining area, kitchen, vestibule and powder room.  Near the fireplace is a twin berth bed.  On the second floor is a spacious master suite and bath, which has a soaking tub and shower, all clad in Deer Isle granite.  The master suite upstairs is the only bedroom in the Cottage.  All rooms have gorgeous ocean views. 

The Guest Apartment is above the garage, connected to the cottage by a covered breezeway, and accessed by a separate door and stairway.  It comprises 600 square feet, and has a sitting area, queen bed, and a large bathroom with shower.

Between the Cottage and the Guest Quarters there are two bedrooms and two baths.  In addition, the Cottage has the powder room and the single berth bed near the fireplace (not in an enclosed bedroom).

Both the Cottage and the Guest Apartment feature original regional scenic prints and paintings.

The Summer House is a 250-foot square free-standing indoor-outdoor structure on the lawn.  It has windows on all sides, wicker furniture, and a slate fireplace.  It has beautiful views of the garden and ocean.

The grounds include mature landscaping, including lawn, apple tree, extensive rock gardens, native and planted trees and flowers, and forest with oak, maple and pine.

Cottage:  The galley kitchen has range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, All-Clad cookware, baking tools and all the cooking and entertaining items one would want, including two lobster pots.

The living room has a sofa, lounge chair and rocking chair.  There is a twin berth bed near the fireplace (not enclosed separately).  There is a high definition 32-inch Sony LCD television, as well as stereo and CD player, board games, books and wonderful fireplace.

The dining area seats 6, and has a solid James Brown cherry dining table and chairs.

The master bedroom has a new, very high quality king bed, desk, wi-fi computer access and lounge chair.

The bath has a 4-foot soaking tub with views of the forest and ocean, a full shower, two sinks, hair dryer, scale.

The cottage has central air conditioning.

Guest Apartment: Queen bed, wood stove, sitting area with high-def 32" LCD television, twin rockers and a love seat, small refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and wood stove.  The bath is large and has a shower.

Like the Cottage, the Guest Apartment has central air conditioning.

Summer House:  Comfortable wicker furniture, slate fireplace, electrically operating cupola windows, phone, propane heater, Bose music player.

Minimum one week rental, Saturday - Saturday, arrive after 4 PM and depart by 10 AM.  Discounts available for three or more weeks.  For non-Saturday arrival or departure, contact owner for availability
