Our family of 5 "kids" from 19 to 29, plus my sister-in-law and her husband stayed for a week during high season. This is an older house that has had an addition to gain the additional bedrooms. The house is advertised to accommodate 16 people but although there might be enough bed spaces to accommodate 16 shareing rooms/beds, nothing else is really big enough to accommodate 16. It was a tight squeeze for the 9 of us in the living room as well as the dining area off the kitchen. Additionally, the kitchen is pretty small so no more than 2 people can be in it at a time. It seems obvious a DIY'er installed the kitchen tile floor as it was not installed correctly so the tile is cracking across the entire kitchen. If you dare to walk barefoot in the kitchen, the broken tiles will pinch your feet. OUCH!! Also, the pots,pans and flatware looked like something rejected by Goodwill. Not only was there not enough flatware but it was all mismatched, bent, tarished and just basically shabby. The pots and pans were all very small and certainly NOT capable of cooking food for a family. After having to cook one grilled cheese sandwich at a time we gave up and and purchased our own pots and pans (not what we wanted to do with our vacation budget). It's not mentioned in the ad, but there is an owner's suite beneath the main level. So half the parking is for the owner or their guests. We did not expect anyone else to be on the property so found it to be an unpleasant surprise when the owner's neices showed up to party over the weekend. The beds were very hard and while clean seemed to be low quality. There were sand fleas in the house and when I told the management company I was told it was no big deal, all houses at the beach at sand fleas inside. Really??
It was across the street from the beach, so there were always nice breezes.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway
