traveler reviews for this daytona beach house rental

Seatreat=perfect home away from home!

BeachBum (Winter Springs, FL)
Review submitted: October 22, 2011   Date of arrival: October 17, 2011

This isn't just a rental house, it's a home away from home. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation! The home is immaculate (which makes me happy because I'm a clean-freak). The neighborhood is very quiet. Less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. Also within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment, CVS. ...a very convenient location! The home was definitely a huge part of making this a fabulous family vacation!

Port Orange visit

This is a really cute little house. Nicely decorated. Comfortable. Clean. Well maintained. One of the few places in the area that allowed rental by the night with dogs. Only thing missing was a dishwasher. It is about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach (not quite "across the street", but close!). The owner was very good to work with. We went with 2 little dogs and visited some nice dog parks nearby so they could get exercise. You can find the dog parts online. A few miles south of the house, down near the lighthouse (worth a visit) is a park. Cost $8 to get in. Nice place for a walk or picnic. It has a dog friendly beach (dogs on leash). You can drive all along the S. Daytona/Port Orange beach (for free after 4PM). The house is on a busy street; so you have to keep close eye on the dogs, but the house was so nice and conveniently located I have to admit it was not really a problem.

This is a really cute little house. Nicely decorated. Comfortable. Clean. Well maintained. No dishwasher. About 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. The owner was very good to work with. Port Orange is a very nice area of Florida. Nice shops and restaurants. It is a pleasant, well cared-for town. I'd never been there and didn't expect it to be this nice. We went with 2 little dogs and visited some nice dog parks nearby so they could get exercise. You can find the dog parts online.
