Is it: A-Frame of "Mine" or a frame of "Mind"
If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, summer vacation rental on a tranquil lakefront setting in the Sebago Lakes region of southwestern Maine, consider the rental of our very secluded A-Frame-style cottage. It's situated in a cove on the western shore of Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine -- and is available year-round. For the downhill skier, Shawnee Peak is just 25 miles away, while Sunday River is just 53 miles away. Cross-country skiing is available all around, as are snowmobile trails. This two-bedroom-plus-loft/one-bath home is just three-eights of a mile from the main road (RT-85), along with only three other private homes. It's a fantastic location for couples or families with small children to reconnect. On the first floor of this modern, four-season cottage there is a small but fully functional kitchen, an enclosed porch, a large deck overlooking the lake, a living room/dining area, and a full bathroom. The second floor has 2 BR, plus a 3rd Floor sleeping loft for 2. There is a sleep sofa in the Living room.
Our A-frame is located on Crescent Lake, Raymond, ME. 04071. This is the 'Sebago Lakes Region' of Southwestern Maine. Maine is known as the 'Vacation Land' for good reason. Our cottage sits on the western shoreline in a secluded cove with only 3 other cottages on the 3/8 mile road, Kossow Lane. People find our rental to be most secluded, relaxing, serene and just great for small families to reconnect with each other. Sit outside at evening by the fireplace (wood provided), listen to the loons and cook marshmallows. There are many outside activities and we supply a listing of all that there is to do.
We provide a metal canoe, a sunfish sailboat and 2 ride on kayaks. We also have a 12 ft and 14 ft boat and motor to rent at reasonable rates.
Crescent Lake lies in the Towns of Raymond and Casco, Maine. It is 4 miles long and 2/3 mile wide at its widest point. The maximum depth is 54 feet and fishing is good year round. Crescent Lake is a good size for moderate boating and is relatively quiet. Crescent Lake connects to Panther Lake which then feeds into Sebago. The Tenny River links Crescent Lake and Panther and is navigable.
