This cabin was the worst rental we ever rented and would not recommend this cabin to anyone.

The owner is difficult to communicate with before and after (I should have known something was up). I had sent an e-mail after our stay telling him of our dissatisfaction and to this day have not received a reply. There is a cleaning fee what a joke. The cabin was not clean by any means; the floors, bathroom and appliances (stove, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven) were all dirty, furniture was dusty, there were rodent droppings in the drawers and we could hear and smell evidence that we were sharing the cabin with the rodents alive running in the walls and dead by the smell. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and in the cabinets. We don't consider ourselves clean freaks or high maintenance by any means but this was just bad.

One of our main reasons for renting this particular cabin was the hot tub, which we found, was not maintained; the water smelled unsanitary there was gravel, dirt and leaves floating in it. The pots, pans and utensils that were there were all filthy. The Cabin doesn't include the following basic items: forks & spoons, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags or a sponge. The Cabin has a washer & dryer which is good since the towels & sheets smelled musty and needed to be washed, but bring detergent and clean the dryer lint trap. The only good thing we found in the cabin was the mattress in the downstairs bedroom a Bob-O-Pedic, which looked fairly new. We were really disappointed. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else. Also, thanks to the owner for never responding to me.
