Family friendly oceanfront beach home in Encinitas, California! A surfer's paradise! Our family has owned this beach house for over 4 decades and has provided many families a comfortable vacation home at affordable rates.  Some of our guests have been renting our home for over 20 years!

This is a 4 bedroom completely furnished home that may be rented with only 3 bedrooms. Much of the home has been recently remodeled. The ground level is partially wheelchair accessible (one step to the dining room and kitchen) and has a wheelchair accessible bathroom. The large living room (27 feet long) allows families to gather and relax while enjoying the beautiful ocean views and  fabulous sunsets. The spacious dining room can seat 12- 14 allowing family dining with spectacular views.  3 of the bedrooms face the ocean providing the soothing sounds of the ocean for a relaxing sleep.

The ocean side of the house features several large patios and decks with patio furniture, umbrella and adirondack chairs for relaxation and watching the dolphins and surfers. We have our own stairs to the beach. There are also public access stairs 1/4 mile north at Grandview Beach.  The house has a private weather protected patio on the opposite side of the house as well.

The beach is quiet even on holiday weekends! Perfect for surfing and boogie boarding!

This home is located in the quaint town of Leucadia which is in north San Diego County 25 miles from San Diego's attractions and the San Diego airport. Our home is within walking distance of a neighborhood market, shops and restaurants.  The many shops, flea market and restaurants of Encinitas are a 5 minute drive away.  Legoland is 10 minutes away.

Master upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and an extra single roll away with sliding door access to upstairs balcony

2 twin bed bedrooms each with a pair of twin beds

Large master downstairs suite (4th bedroom if rented as 4 bedrooms) has king size bed, flat screen T.V., own deck, kitchenette and disability friendly bathroom with grab bars. The shower has one step over the threshold. This suite can be rented independently to a couple only.

Fold out couch in the living room.

Linens(sheets, blankets, bath towels, bath mats, kitchen towels) are provided.

There are 2 full baths upstairs, one with shower/tub combination

Access into the home is wheelchair friendly with ramps and wide doorways on the ground floor.

Fully equipped kitchen with serveware for 12, cooking utensils, pots and pans, small appliances including blender, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, slow cooker. Main kitchen has microwave, double ovens, dishwasher. Kitchenette has 1 oven and dishwasher. Extra refrigerator in the garage.

Laundry room equipped with washer and dryer.

Outdoor shower with hot water for showering after the beach.

Weber barbecues.

Beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas are available for guest use.

Cable TV/wireless internet, printer/copier included.

3 Bedrooms: $275/night      $1925/per week   3 night minimum*

* 2 night short stay minimums permitted, but with a surcharge added at .5 times the nightly rate (Example: 3 bedrooms would be charged at 2.5 x $275 = $687.50)

Off Season  (March 1- May 31st and October 1- December excluding holidays)

4 Bedrooms: $450/night    $3150/per week   3 night minimum*

3 Bedrooms: $300/night    $2100/per week   3 night minimum*

* 2 night short stay minimums permitted, but with a surcharge added at .5 times the nightly rate (Example: 3 bedrooms would be charged at 2.5 x $300 = $750)

June 1-15th

4 Bedrooms: $510/night     $3570/week         7 night minimum

September 3-30th

4 Bedrooms: $510/night     $3570/week         3 night minimum

3 bedrooms: $340/night     $2380/week         3 night minimum
