Secluded lake cottage with sandy crescent swimming area, wildlife, beautiful views and charm, located 15 minutes from the coast.
Western exposure makes each summer afternoon on 800 acre Crawford Lake a day to cherish. Birders, fishermen, swimmers, hikers, readers and nappers will find our place to their liking.
Terriffic restauraunts, hiking trails, galleries, light houses and shops abound fifteen minutes away in Camden and Rockland. Damariscotta and Belfast are gems worth visiting - about 45 minutes away.

The bedroom has a Select-Comfort adjustable full mattress. The large, open living area has a comfortable futon/couch and a single bed and trundle. Linens & towels are included. There's also a glass-front woodstove for chilly nights. The kitchen has a gas oven/stove, microwave, fridge, basic herbs and spices and excellent well water. A great place for people who love to cook. The bathroom is roomy (with a celebrated Elvis shrine).
Outside, a large deck has a gas BBQ, chairs and hooks for drying bathing suits and towels. There's a sandy crescent beach (great for kids), picnic table, canoe (paddles and pfds). For the asking: tent sites, a wood fired sauna, flowers and fresh produce in season.

Right outside the cottage is Crawford lake with islands and streams to explore. Through fields and across the road are well-marked walking trails.
In nearby Rockland and Camden: Lobster Festival, Atlantic Blues Festival, Bay Chamber Concerts, Farnsworth Museum and Wyeth Center, Owl's Head Transportation Museum, Breakwater Lighthouse, day sailing and charter fishing on Penobscot Bay, golf courses, mountain bike trails, art galleries and more. Or....you can just stay home and relax.
