This beautiful contemporary house is located on coastal waters in a tranquil area just a few miles away from Brunswick and Bath. We have 4 kayaks ready for your use.  Fishing buffs can catch striped bass right from the dock. Even better, coastal waters require no fishing license, so bring your fishing gear!

The open ocean is just a few miles paddle from the house.  There are several miles of beautiful hiking trails in the Audubon sanctuary, which the property borders. The area also offers abundant wildlife and lots of peace and quiet.

The 1500 sq. foot, 3 story house was completely redone 3 years ago and features cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and custom woodwork. The large main level contains a gourmet kitchen, a spacious living room overlooking the water, and a full bathroom. Walls of glass bring views of the water and the sun into the main level. The master bedroom suite is upstairs, with views of the water and a private full bathroom. The exposed lower level opens out to the patio and the private dock and float. The lower level has a bedroom with a full bed, a third bathroom, and a separate sitting room with a sleeper sofa.

Enjoy stunning sunsets over the water from one of the 2 decks or the patio. Or, take in the sights and sounds of the Maine coast as you relax in the living room!

West Bath is a great area to visit. It is close enough to Portland and to other towns in the area to be accessible, but far enough away to be quite and private.

The house is about 35 mins drive from Portland. It is quite close to grocery shopping, and is also within a 10 minute drive from Bath and Brunswick.  Both towns are quirky small towns that are great destinations for a day trip, shopping, or a fun lunch.

Freeport, home of L.L.Bean and more outlets than you could ever dream of, is only about 20-25 minutes drive away.

If you're willing to drive a little more than an hour away, Camden and Rockland are also fun places to visit. They are coastal cities with lots of shopping, museums, and restaurants to offer.
