Huge Hacienda Retreat on Mt Soladad in La Jolla

This is a Grand Old Hacienda, 4,500 sq feet with 25ft ceilings situated on an acerand a half of land.The main house has 2 bedrooms and a loft. The second house is a twobedroom/ 2bathroom cottage.

The grounds are magnificent filled with art work collected by the late owner. Located down a hill, the land goes on for ever with a tennis court and heated pool. Perfect for weddings, or just a few people trying to get away from the rush of La Jolla. The village is just a 3 min drive, and the La Jolla Shores beach is only 3  mins away.  

The house is has art work, artifacts, and beautiful furniture.  A huge fireplace is surrounded  by comfortable couches with a view to the pool. The family room can hold about 12 people comfortably with a cozy step down sitting area for tv viewing. Above that room is a loft with 2 twin beds, and a full bed.The kitchen is modernized in a galley style.

Many people come to La Jolla to see the ocean. The ocean is all around the city. This is your chance to stay in an authentic Mexican Hacienda  {built by a son of a late president of Mexico} built in a valley with the city minutes away.

This is not a normal vacation rental, it is an amazing experience, a shangri la, a private oasis of beauty, comfort, peace and quiet.  Please come and share in this unique experience.

The 2 bedrooms down stairs have king beds, and are master suites including bathrooms with showers.

The loft has 2 twin beds and a full bed. The house is so huge you can put up several blow up matteress on the floors.

The tennis house  is a two bedroom two bath  space with its own charm. There is no kitchen in this house.

The main house kitchen is modern with 2 ovens a microwave, dishwasher and  all the small apliances you would expect.

The pool is heated and the tennis court is ready for use. Maid service is included, if wanted ,2 days a week.  There are many wonderful quiet spots on the property to enjoy.

My favorite spot is in front of the huge fireplace with a cozy setting of couches for an intimate place to enjoy conversations while the children are in the family room playing board games or watching tv. It is reminiscent of a time gone by. Sitting in comfortable elegance where nature and art come together. 

The village of La Jolla is minutes  away, the cove also. The shores beach is 2 miles as the crow flies. 

We are 15 min from the airport, Sea World, 20 min from the Zoo, 30 min from Lego land and an hour from Disneyland.
