Dockside Escape in Cayuga Lake

This lake home is located in the heart of Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.  If features an eat-in kitchen with sliding glass doors, which leads to an expansive deck, complete with Barbeque grill, dining table and a panoramic view of the lake. 

The living room is equipped with reclining leather furniture, a stone hearth, High Definition TV, Stereo System and Air Conditioning.  This home has cathederal ceilings throughout. 

 Our 100' Beach Front is at the end of a grassy slope, which allows easy access for carrying canoes and kayaks.   We also feature a large deck area on our beach front for picnics and lounging.  There are cleats on the dock for boat tie ups.  Swimming and fishing are enjoyed off the end of the dock.   A ladder on the dock makes it convenient to enter and exit the lake. There is also a campfire area on the lake front. 

The house features a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave and double ovens. 

Air Condititioning

Dean's Cove State Marina is 10 minutes South for boat launching.

We also have a Kayak which can be rented on a weekly basis.

This summer the house will include a newly remodeled front porch which will be fully enclosed and air conditioned---all overlooking the lake!

Dockside Escape is central to the major wineries on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall for shopping.   The community of Aurora is just across the lake, where you can visit McKenzie-Childs and dine at the Aurora Inn.  Dockside Escape is 45 minutes North of Ithaca, home to Cornell and Ithaca College.   We are also just  30 minutes from the historic communities of Seneca Falls, Waterloo and Geneva. The City of Auburn is  30 minutes away and  offers shopping, dining and the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, featuring summer musicals. 

There are boat rentals available within a few miles of the house for those who want to enjoy fishing or a trip down Cayuga Lake.   Golf Courses are readily available--Seneca Falls CC is 10 minutes away!   For the adventurer, there are many State Parks nearby offering hiking, bike trails and many outdoor attractions.
