New 2500sqft Home Facing Ocean in Ortley Beach

Great mix of convenience and class

We stayed here last year Labor Day weekend and after staying someplace else this year (because it was unavailable) I wanted to write a quick review. This place is top notch! They could have easily shoe-horned 5,6,7 or 8 bedrooms in to this place, but instead they opted to keep it classy. The kitchen is the nicest I've ever seen in a shore rental and the entire second floor is dedicated to the kitchen and living room. It's great for entertaining! This house is set up perfectly for a family or even 2 families. We went with 3 couples and 1 single adult, so the beds weren't exactly ideal, but we couldn't have been happier with our experience! It's really close to the beach and close enough to Seaside that we walked there, but far enough from Seaside that you're not caught up in all the comotion when you don't want to be.

The only draw back for us was that there was no real outdoor area to hang (except the driveway). There are balconies, which are great, and a very small deck with a grill off the 1st floor "bedroom", but we never even used it. Plan on eating out or cooking in the kitchen; this is not a bbqing house.

**Beware that the neighbors will stalk you and report back to the owner. It wasn't a problem for us because we didn't try to do anything we weren't supposed to. If you plan on being shady, this isn't the place for you.
