Enjoy the "Best View on the Santa Fe" from our front porch or stay cool swimming/playing along the 100' beach.  Fish from our floating dock or play volleyball in the large yard. You also will have access to our community boat ramp down the street.

Upstairs has a  king bed in the bedroom, with 2 queen size sleeper sofas in the living area.  There is a full bath & spacious kitchen with microwave, dishwasher &. washer/dryer.  TV with dish network & new wireless DSL is also included.  The downstairs has 2 full beds, full bath, living area, partial kitchen with refrigerator, microwave & dining table, air/heat & ceiling fans.

We can accomodate 8 comfortably for the listed rental prices.  Please contact us if arrangements need to be made for more.

No smoking is permitted inside, only outside  & on the upstairs porch.

Swim, boat, fish, snorkel or dive in this beautiful river.  Go tubing/floating from your beach to the community park & keep your eyes open for manatees!!. Visit the numerous springs in the area like Ichetucknee, Ginnie, Blue, Poe, Hart or Manatee or go antique shopping in nearby High Springs. Make memories to last a lifetime!!

vacation rental rates

2 night minimum:  $400.00

$150.00 per additional night

$800.00  per week NOV- FEB and  $900.00 MAR - OCT. These new rates begin 7/26/09.

A 9% sales tax will be added to all transactions.

 Minimum 1 week stay for the weeks containing the following holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day - $950.00 per week

Make a $300 security deposit upon making your reservations. the balance is due in full three weeks prior to your rental (if paying by personal check). Please write a separate check for security deposit.  We will return you deposit after a satisfactory inspection of the premises.  If paying online, you do not need to split the payment.  We will refund your deposit via PayPal. You can book on shorter notice if paying online.

Best Vacation!!!

This is a great place to stay! I give it a 10+. It is very roomy, clean, good sleeping beds! Very nicely decorated. Nice cold air condition for hot summer months. On the bottom level, you have your own coffee maker, frig., dining table, microwave, beds, air conditioner, and a sofa. It also has a huge bathroom, with tub and shower. Oh wow, did I catch a lot of fish right off the dock!!! Also went floating down the river. The owner, has a lot of floats she lets us use. And if you have any problems, she's there to help you. She is a very nice lady! Loved to set on the upstairs porch, and kick back after a day of fun. The view is soooo bueatiful! I've stayed here several times befor, and I can't wait to go back again! This is a good place to carry your kids too, I plan on taking my grandkids next time.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

The location is great and the view is wonderful although there are a good bit of negatives to this house. The owner stays in a camper right up underneath you during your whole vacation. The plumbing is awful, there is no water pressure what so ever, and both toilets backed up on us during our stay. This may be a two story house BUT the only way to get from top to bottom is an OUTSIDE staircase!! There is no staircase in the house . . so you have to take a flash light at night to go from the top to the bottom of the house outside. The owner constantly tries to visit with you and I felt over looked our stay the whole time. I take a vacation to get away not to be looked over. So if you want privacy and decent bath room's this is not the place to choose. The house has a bad smell to the place like it has never been cooked in and there are spider webs every where and dust!!! This was not a pleasant place to stay for my family - the neighbors are right next door as well. no privacy!!!!!

Owners response: Please take the time to read the other reviews about my property and you will see they are GREAT! This tenant was not a pleasant person & I hesitated to rent to her at all. She comes to this area for a family reunion every year, but was unable to secure the home she had always stayed at closer to her event. I was not familiar with where she was going & advised her to make sure about the distances. When she first arrived she was unhappy because my home was further away than she thought it would be. I was not aware of the problem with the bathrooms backing up & I had not had any problem prior to this. I was told by them that all was OK when I inquired. Since she felt I tried to visit with them too much, she obviously had the opportunity to tell me. I do have a septic system & I of course had it taken care of immediately when I learned there was a problem. My home is thoroughly cleaned before every new tenant arrives & the other reviews remark about the cleanliness. I do have a outside staircase which is clearly shown on the pictures posted and there are outside floodlights above & below it. I depend on the income from this property as I am a widow with elderly parents to take care of, so I go out of my way to try to assure all is just as it should be with the home so all will have a pleasant & memorable stay. It Doesn't Get Better Than This.

The location was so beautiful. We woke every morning to see Humming Birds feeding right off of the balcony, birds singing, fish jumping,and a fabulous view. Everything we needed was right there, we just had to bring our clothes and food. The house was clean, roomy, and charming. There was an information packet ready with everything we needed to know about the area. We were within minutes of several beautiful springs and a quick boat ride away from the Itchetucknee River. We spent most of our time in the backyard cooking out, rocking, and playing in the water. The kids loved tubing around the lagoon and to the boat ramp... which is a very pretty float. The neighbors were friendly and engaging. Pam was so helpful and kind, the perfect hostess We can't wait to get back next summer. We have vacationed in the area for many years, but this is the best experience we have ever had. Our kids range in age from seventeen to four, and everyone had a great time. If you are looking for a quiet time with family, fun with the kids, or a place to rest and cook-out after a day of diving, this is the place. It truly is an "Oasis".
