Brookwood Cottage in Saratoga

Luxurious Cottage Hideaway  This enchanting cottage sits beside a meandering creek in a lovely wooded area that is walking distance to historic Saratoga.  The entire front of the cottage has a raised porch and is shaded with a rose covered lattice.  There are two sets of French doors on either side of the front entryway, and the large windows throughout the entire cottage allow for the sun light, the sounds of the creek and the views of the woods to permeate the space…

The nine-year-old bungalow was built with chic, upscale amenities and is finished with tasteful décor.  The one large bedroom has a full walk-in, cedar-lined closet, a California King four-poster bed, with matching armoire and side tables.  The bathroom skylight accentuates the custom tile work of the European styled shower.  The living room/kitchen combination has a breakfast bar, slate tiled floors, custom burled cabinetry, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, and gas burning stove and television.

The cottage is within walking distance of downtown Saratoga, a village that is locally known for its rural small-town feel, wineries, and high-end boutiques. In 2008, CNN/Money ranked Saratoga number four in its listing of top-earning towns. Forbes also ranked Saratoga in 2009 as one of America's top 20 most educated small towns. Major attractions include Villa Montalvo, a beautiful outdoor concert arena and hiking park, Hakone Gardens, a small, picturesque Japanese garden and the Mountain Winery. This location is about 1 hour drive into the heart of San Francisco, a 45 minute drive to the San Francisco International Airport, and 20 minutes to the San Jose Airport.  It is about a 1 hour drive to the Carmel / Monterey area, and a bit less to the beaches of Santa Cruz.  This is a very luxurious accommodation from which to explore the beauty of Northern California!
