The location was as advertised and easy in and out by boat. The sand beach was perfect for our little ones to swim play and enjoy the water in a safe location. Views are lovely . House was pretty much as advertised but hard to locate items in kitchen..most drawers were full of junk belonging to owners. Coffee filters were no where to be found for example..a problem when there is NO store nearby or car.
Owner showed up after we were all in, then looked around and complained about missing flashlights, wanted us to find them. Complained about things going missing. Also be prepared to DEEP CLEAN whole house yourself..or you won't get your deposit back.. People before us left bunk sheets dirty with leaves and dirt in beds

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers

Owners response: This is part time rental and has everything needed for your stay including coffee filters which are in a container labeled coffee filters in the cupboard. The drawers have everything needed for a weeks stay so you don't have to go into town in case you forget something. Putting the house back in the condition you found it in, in my book, is not considered deep cleaning. I do feel bad about the bunk sheets being dirty. But in my defense, they arrived prior to my being able to inspect the property as the prior renters left just an hour or two before their arrival. I inquired about the flashlights and asked them if they would look for them in the bunkhouses as I didn't want to intrude on their belongings. They also got a deeply discounted rate as I allowed them to have a short term rental which we normally don't do. I try my best to make everybody's stay as comfortable as possible but I guess you can't satisfy all the people all the time. Regards.
