This restored 1900 home was the carriage house for the Saltonstall Estate in Wings Neck, which has been featured in the 2003 book This Old House.  Now carefully restored it is a comfortable 4-bedroom, 2-bath summer home in the small private community of Winnepoc.  The house has had new flooring and carpeting throughout, in addition to a new kitchen.  Three steps up from the entry-level kitchen is a beautiful living room with a grand stone fireplace, Restoration Hardware sofa and chair, and a game table.  The master bedroom is on the main level with a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan , garden and water view.  There is a second main level bedroom with twin beds and a separate laundry and utility room.  Spiral steps lead to the second level with open sitting/play area and two hide-a-beds.  There are two bedrooms with twin beds at each end of the house.  Exit from the back bedroom to a roof deck for sunbathing, reading and water views.

The house has a front deck and connected side patio with seating for small and large gatherings and dining.  Almost a full acre of land provides plenty of privacy and room to play badmiton, horseshoes and more.
