Our 3 Bedroom 2 bath home on the 6th Tee and fairway of the Golden Hills Golf and Turf  Club is perfect for first or second honeymooners; but spacious enough to comfortably accomodate a party of six when not reserved for our special honeymoon guests.

Honeymoon Getaway's recreational room and the  oversized Master bedroom have sliding glass doors that open to a vista of lush  "Old Florida" fauna and flora; huge oak trees, Spanish moss, and tropical plants and birds.  The one acre property is nestled between a horse farm in the front, and the 18 hole championship Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club  course in the back.  The golf course has been redesigned by Rees Jones, and was host to the 2009 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship in October.   Bring your camera.  You may be watching a future Lorena Ochoa from your back yard!

The Master bedroom contains a king-sized bed, and it has its own private bathroom and two walk-in closets.  The second and third bedrooms have a queen-sized bed, and a queen-sized futon.  There is a recreational room, separate living room, dining room , and covered back porch.    The dining room table seats six, and there are two patio tables and a gas grill on the back porch for outside enjoyment.  There is a laundry room off the kitchen with a full sized washer and dryer.

Watch TV, play cards, or billiards while sipping your favorite refreshment in Honeymoon Getaway's recreational room as you enjoy the wonderful back yard vista and the 6th tee and fairway.  Enjoy watching the butterflies and humming birds, pileated wood peckers, osprey and cardinals from the breakfast nook of the kitchen.  Or relax on the back porch, reading a book, eating, or barbequing your steaks on the gas grill.

If you are a golfer, you'll love the well tended golf course at the Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club.  In September, 2011, the golf course became a "Members Only" course, however, there are more than 15 public golf courses within a 7 mile radius of Honeymoon Getaway.  Their fees range from $19-42 for 18 holes. There are beautiful rolling hills, and century old oak trees lining the fairways, and there  is a wonderful variety of egrets and other water fowl around the golf course lakes, and even a pair of wild turkeys on the 13th fairway!  Relax at the Club House for lunch  or a drink as you watch other golfers practice at the range.  The menu is nicely varied, and the chef does a great job.

Whether your visit will be for only a week, or longer, you will leave feeling totally refreshed and relaxed.  You won't want to leave!  But if and when you do leave, we hope you will return again for a second or third honeymoon stay at Honeymoon Getaway.

Deposits are $200 for weekly and $500 for Monthly rentals and are due with application.  Full payment is required 4 weeks prior to arrival.  Payment in US currency only, by Certified check, Personal check,  Money order or bank wire transfer, PayPal.  Cleaning fees are $75 for weekly renters and $100 for Monthly renters.   Note:  Add 9% hospitality tax to all rates.  Check in time after 3PM and check out time 11:00 AM  Rates include local phone, DSL, basic Dish TV programming,  utilities and yard care.
