Second Time and Loving it!

Review submitted: March 27, 2014   Date of arrival: March 22, 2014

It is a great feeling when you walk into this cabin and you feel at home. This is our second stay and that is the feeling we had. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table in the afternoon after a long day of shopping or after a hike in the Smoky Mountains. The location of the cabin is great, close to the main roads in Pigeon Forge. The cabin is very clean and set up great for two couples or a family of four or more. We had our daughter and her 6 months old son and they enjoyed the downstairs area at night for that was “quite time”. Our two little dogs love staying on the back screened porch. There is a raccoon that lives in the woods behind the house and they just watched him play around too.
James is a great guy and makes you feel as if you are part of his family just like the feel you have staying in the cabin.

Our first stay you can read about it.. “Our New Home Away From Home!” We still feel the same way and have plans to come back as many times as we can. Thank you James for sharing this great cabin with us!

Owners response: Thanks Angela, the picture you sent me of the cabin when it was snowing was really nice! Snow fakes and spring flowers. I made a quick overnight trip to the cabin to check on a couple of things (we have a new TV in the living room)as of today. Hope you get back in the fall!

Wonderful stay at American Charm

Review submitted: December 27, 2013   Date of arrival: December 21, 2013

Arrived to find a lovely, cozy cabin. Everything you would expect from a vacation rental. Cabin was very clean, had everything you would need. We were a family of six which included two young grandchildren. The owners went that extra mile by seeing that the cabin had a decorated Christmas tree and other holiday decorations. It was a pleasure working owner James, he was very cordial and responsive. We have stayed in many rentals in Gatlinburg and this cabin by far was one of the best. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

BEST Relaxing Vacation in YEARS!

Review submitted: September 9, 2013   Date of arrival: August 23, 2013

This cabin sits in a beautiful, scenic location. You have plenty of privacy, yet are only 1 - 3 miles from most places. As we walked through the front door, every family member commented on how nice and comfortable everything appeared. The wonderful comments continued as we walked through the cabin...glorious, adorable, homey, relaxing, comfortable, tasteful, fun, cute...and the list could go on forever. Our family represented most age groups...senior adults, middle age and teenager. We chose this cabin because of the layout of the rooms which allowed my senior adult parents to have the main floor master suite. The only minor issue we discovered when we first arrived was that the one and only front door step is a doozy...higher than an average step and my mother who must use a cane was unable to step up into the house. Even the healthiest of us considered the step quite high. A quick trip to Wal-Mart, and the purchase of a sturdy step stool fixed that one and only issue. My husband and I took the downstairs 2nd bedroom (just as nice as the master bedroom) and our teenage daughter happily used the downstairs den/gameroom with a pull out sofa as her room. Anything and everything we could possibly need was already in the cabin for our use. We cooked most meals at the cabin and was pleased to find quality cookware, utensils, dishes, etc. supplied. The outdoor gas grill was a nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed the fact that the upper outdoor deck was completely screened and each of us spent a majority of our time out there. The front porch swing was also a favorite. Much laughter was heard while Grandpa and teenage daughter played pool downstairs, or while the entire family sat around the kitchen table assembling a puzzle, or when we used the kitchen table to sit up a sewing space with 2 vintage sewing machines. We actually sewed 2 complete quilt tops together during our vacation! A huge bonus was that we were allowed to take our two toy-sized dogs with us and are so appreciative of the owners allowing this. The hot tub was awesome, especially after a day walking around Dollywood, shopping, riding go-karts. Although we don't often get to take family vacations, nothing would make us happier than to be able to reserve this cabin each year. Most people return home from a vacation stating that they need to rest FROM their vacation. This was the first time we could honestly say we came away from a vacation completed RESTED! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
