I wanted to write a review on how accommodating Glenn was when we were making arrangements for our stay - over and above what I could have ever expected!!. As we are from Canada and do not have cell phones I was a little concerned about not having a phone to use in the unit. Glenn made sure there was a phone hooked up for us when we arrived, so calls to Canada were made with comfort from the unit.

It was also convenient that we didn't have to bring towels or linens (as you do in some places I found when searching for holiday units). Glenn's unit is perfect for 2 adults, the accomodations are great, more pools than one could wish for and what I felt was our very own elevator right outside the door!!

Location is perfect too!! We also enjoyed the fact that when we travelled (Mid-October) it is not peak season, so walks on the beach were totally enjoyable at any time of the day!!

As someone else mentioned, it was also very convenient that the door is key pad entry which eliminates the worry about having keys and losing them at the beach.

We will definately be in touch with Glenn again when we are ready for another fabulous vacation in Myrtle Beach!!

Honeymooners

We rented this condo for our honeymoon, and we got our moneys worth,..everything was clean and very close. The kitchen was very nice, which did make it nice to stay in if we wanted. The pools were heated and clean, the hottubs( inside and out) where a nice touch. the staff is very friendly if you have questions about locations of atractions. The balcony has a great two angle view, one for day to look at the beach and one at night,...you can see the big sky wheel attraction, wonderful view! Very close to the elevators so you can hop on down to the beach in a hurry. Wifi in room, good plus. tv in bedroom and living room. Has keypad on door so you dont have to carry a door key to the beach, really nice. Oceanfront bar...nice. Hope to mak it down ther again net year!

Recommended for: age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Great 5-day weekend!

My husband and I had to take our daughter to Myrtle Beach to meet up with some friends so we decided to take a last minute mini vacation. Fortunately for us, there had been a cancellation at Angie's Beach Shack for the exact dates we needed. It was the only availability for months. We had a wonderful time. The room was very nice and clean. The resort was nice and we had easy beach access and lots of pools. The views were as described. The owners were great and very accommodating. (I noticed they know have a phone in their room -- in reference to the Canadian couples comment -- so they also really listen to their guests. Thanks so much for the great time. Steve and Sydney

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
