A Palm Beach Designer's summer house, this Historical French Country Provincial Style home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, central AC/heat, and is super clean.  The house is within 5 minute walking distance to charming downtown Forest City.

The master bedroom includes  Persian style wool carpets, a 4 poster queen bed with pillow top mattress, 2 closets, an antique cedar lined armoire, cable TV and 100% hypo allergenic linens, bedding and pilows.

Guest bedroom #1 includes a queen pillow top mattress, two closets, cable TV and 100% cotton hypo allergenic linens, bedding and pillows.

Guest bedroom #2 includes adouble pillow top futon that could be a couch if desired, one large closet, cable TV and 100% cotton hypo allergenic linens, bedding and pillows.

The upstairs bathroom has beautiful garden views and includes a pedestal sink, antique bathtub, and an extra  large rainfall showerhead for long, soothing showers and huge fluffy Ralph Lauren towels.         

Bathroom #2 includes a reproduction antique cabinet sink, an antique refinished claw foot soaking tub, beautiful garden views, and super fluffy Ralph Lauren towels.         

The living room includes a fireplace, Persian wool carpets, leather seating w/very large ottomans, an extra large pillow top day bed (great for overnight guests) and a TV with DVD.          The office includes  wireless high speed DSL, copier, printer and fax, cordless phone with all local and long distance included in rental price.         

The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances.  An antique farmhouse sink and the reproduction rolling island are the focal points of the kitchen.  In addition, professional grade cookware, dinnerware, glasses, servingware, barware and all cooking utensils are provided.         There is a separate breakfast/coffee room with a coffe maker and espresso maker.          

 The formal dining room includes a wood burning fireplace, Persian style wool carpets, a large French Provincial style dining table that seats 10, and large French doors leading to the deck and gas grill.         

 The entire house features antique heart pine flooring and Pella noise reduction windows.

Outside you'll enjoy a beautiful fully fenced, very private wooded 1/2 acre that includes two 100 year old pecan trees and a most unusual bamboo thicket.  Enjoy the covered front porch while viewing the courtyard of flowers and peaceful fountain, or sit on the open side deck and enjoy 100 year old oak trees along with an array of Lilies, shrubs and flowers. 

Forest City is located in the Blue Ridge foothills area of North Carolina and is centered between Charlotte, NC and Asheville, NC.  It is a five minute walk from the property to the charming downtown which includes an upscale coffee house, bar and eatery, drugstore/breakfast place, small cafe's, antique stores furniture, jewelry and more.

The Forest City surrounding area inludes three Championship golf courses, museums-children's interactive Kidsense museum, farm museum, and a classic car museum.  There is canoeing, kid's water park, organized fly fishing trips, tubing trips, horseback riding, dig your own gems, many antique shops, flea markets and other outlet stores.

Rates are $100.00 per night, with a 2 night minimum.

During special holidays the rates will be $150.00

Advance deposit of one night's rate plus $100.00 pet deposit is required to reserve

the house.
