St Augustine Good Vibrations with ocean views in St Augustine

Living just 100 yards from the ocean isn't just a location at Good Vibrations -- it's an attitude! This charming, one-of-a-kind 3-storey house is full of fun and bright cheer, and you will love every wave-watching, sea-breezy moment of your time here!

From the moment you see our lemon-yellow house with white railings and a signature round window, you know you're in for something special. The living room is the center of activity, big and sprawling with margarita-green walls, a pillowy-soft leather couch and loveseat, white wicker chair and rocker, TV, and -- of course! -- a jukebox. Big sliding glass doors lead out to one of our decks, with ocean views and lots of sitting-around-talking space. 

Adjacent to the living area are the kitchen and dining rooms. The breakfast bar along the kitchen counter seats 3, so you can keep the cook company in our bright-and-cheery kitchen. This room has a cheerful retro look, but it's all business with modern appliances, every labor-saving gadget, and a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils. 

When the food's ready, serve it up at our dining table, set with a floral oilcloth and seating for 4. This light, sun-washed room is a great way to start the day, and it does double duty as a games table, too. (Good Vibrations has a fully stocked games closet for rainy days -- you're going to discover some new favorites here!)

But if the dining area seems a little too enclosed for you, just step out to our big deck off the kitchen! Equipped with a charcoal grill and picnic table (not to mention outstanding views!), it's the place to cook up the catch of the day or just linger over drinks. You'll really feel part of the neighborhood on this deck, as birds soar overhead.

The living is easy at Good Vibrations, and the sleeping is even better. Our master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed fitted with a patchwork quilt in a fairy-tale style bedroom as cozy as it is comfortable. There's an old fireplace in this room, a TV, and a private deck with fantastic ocean views. You may never want to leave!

But you must -- at least long enough to get to the Jacuzzi in the en suite master bathroom! Along with a roomy walk-in shower, this bathroom gives you the luxury treatment. You'd never expect it from such an old-fashioned looking house, but Good Vibrations is all about comfort, and that means the latest indulgences!

There are two more bedrooms on the third floor, each with private decks overlooking the backyard and Intracoastal Waterway. The sun sets gloriously over the Intracoastal, so these are prime positions for a long, lazy chat at twilight.

One bedroom boasts a bright and cheerful double bed, the other a trundle that can be opened into either a king or two twins. Whatever the composition of your group, you can find bedroom arrangements to suit with this versatile trundle! And another full bathroom on this floor is convenient to both bedrooms.

The fourth bedroom is back on the first floor, and sports a queen-sized futon. This room opens out to a lovely patio, and offers an attached bathroom with a stall shower. There! Everyone snug and accounted for!

Good Vibrations includes a backyard with a bocce ball court. Just 5 minutes from downtown, it's got a bird's-eye view of the whole neighborhood, not to mention water on both sides. And on Vilano Beach, you're right on the St. Augustine inlet, with its unique peach-colored beach comprised of ground coquina shells mixed with white sand. No other strip of coastline looks like it!

The beach is devoted to strolling, frolicking, and sunbathing. You will love how private it is. And when you seek calmer waters, the Intracoastal Waterway is available for kayaking, canoeing, or boating. Nature trails for hiking or biking wind through this bit of unspoiled land. Of course, you're also close to St. Augustine, with its world-class shopping and fine dining, and less than 2 hours from Orlando and other attractions. Good Vibrations is a little bit of laid-back paradise in the middle of an exciting vista!
