The house boasts an open floor plan with a large Living room with fireplace, books, board games, movies and plenty of space to enjoy the state of the art 7 channel surround sound system with a 50 inch plasma TV.  There are two comfy couches in the living room – one of the couches is a new sleeper sofa (sleeps 2).

From the living room, French doors open to the outdoor patio complete with sectional sofa, tables and fireplace.  You can grill on the grill and enjoy your meal at the outdoor dining table or the indoor dining room.  Hook up your Ipod or pop in one of our many CD’s and listen to music outside while you relax in front of the fire after dinner.  The Garden is a wonderful retreat all on its own replete with many beautiful flower and trees. In season the smell of Jasmine is all around.

The large Master Bedroom is like a retreat with california king bed, walk in closet, french doors leading out to the sunroom, which overlooks the garden.  The master bath is equipped with shower as well as oversized jacuzzi tub.  You can relax on the couch in the sunroom with a book or watch TV on the 42 inch plasma.

The second bathroom in the main house is also equipped with bathtub and shower.

The second bedroom is my daughters.  She has a twin bed with a trundle.  The trundle is best for a child and the twin can work just as well for an adult or a child.

The third bedroom is a nursery with a crib.

The fourth bedroom is entered through a separate entrance off of the garden.  Fragrant and beautiful blue Wisteria (when in season) graces the entrance to this cozy retreat complete with bathroom/shower, kitchenette area with microwave, toaster and coffee maker.  The bedroom also features a 27 inch plasma TV.  Perfect in-law quarters.

The house is beautiful and functional, a one of a kind must see! There is lots of storage and closet space.  The garage is stocked with beach towels, 3 adult bikes and one child bike, lots of beach toys, etc.  The washer/dryer is also located in the garage, which is right off of the kitchen.  There is a beautiful park right across the street.  Great location 3 blocks to the sand and the Riviera Village complete with many restaurants, shops and entertainment. There are three entrances to our home, it is quiet, private, sunny and perfect if you want to be away from all the noise of the big cities, but close enough to everything. For those of you travelers who are not familiar with South Redondo Beach here are some Major city's next to us- Santa Monica 12 miles, 1 mile to Hermosa Beach, 2 miles to Manhattan Beach, Hollywood & Vine a car's drive away, Rodeo Drive, The Grove, Disneyland, all within driving distance, Knot's Berry Farm, Sea world, Beverly Hills We are 15-20 min to all major freeways for those who want to explore. Drive along the Pacific Coast Highway through Malibu to Santa Barbara stop at some of the most beautiful beaches along the way.  A beautiful ride.

Things to Do in Redondo Beach:

* Redondo Beach: The sandy part of Redondo Beach, just south of the pier. Lifeguards are on duty here, watching kids and adults alike bobbing around in the surf.

* Redondo Beach Pier: This U-shaped pier bristles with fishing poles, and once in a while you'll see someone reel in a catch. You'll also find restaurants, fast-food stands here, along with souvenir shops, one of which touts a 16-and-a-half-foot long great white shark on display. Starboard Attitude is the oldest live blues club in the South Bay, with lots of live acts. No cover charge, but you must be over 21.

* Rent a Bicycle: Ride a little or ride a lot. The oceanfront bike path here is flat and runs for over 20 miles up to Santa Monica.

* Sport Fishing: Half-day and longer deep-sea fishing trips. No pole? No problem. Rent equipment at their tackle shop. Catches here include halibut, mackerel, bonita, sand bass, yellowtail and more.

* Rent a Kayak: The marina and nearby harbor offer plenty of room to paddle around, and lots to see.

* Take a Speedboat Ride: This 70-foot, 140-passenger speedboat blasts off hourly on weekends and holiday afternoons.

* Head for the Hollywood Riviera: Some say this six blocks of unique, local shops, salons and eateries resembles southern France. You can get there by walking along the oceanfront sidewalk south from the pier or take Beach Cities Transit bus #104.

* Go for a Swim: You can swim in the ocean, but if you like your water calmer, Seaside Lagoon offers a salt water pool with sandy beaches.

* Watch the Grunion Run: No, this isn't a 5K or a 10K. Instead, it's the mating spectacle of small, silvery fish that spawn en masse on southern California beaches shortly at high tide shortly after a full moon. The peak spawning period is late March through early June.
