The Tamarack Cabins are 3 hours from Syracuse, Albany, Burlington VT and Montreal, in the NW Adirondacks.
The 3 cabins rent as one unit, all with light pine interiors, several skylights to enjoy the towering trees outside, a stocked kitchen and many screened windows for enjoying the lakeside and wooded views. A woodstove is in the main cabin for warming up on a chilly evening.
The renter has access to hiking around the entire mile-long Silver Lake. A canoe, rowboat and 2 solo kayaks come with the rental (4 adult lifejackets included), with other hiking possibilities nearby. Motor boats are allowed on nearby Cranberry Lake. Access to Silver lake is by a staircase to the dock. Outdoor Adirondack chairs and a firepit, awaits you for outdoor dining. Washer/dryer included. A friendly nearby neighbor is available for advice. Rental guidelines include many more activities in the area.
In town is a small grocery tore, a library with computer/internet access, gift shops, eateries, and an ice cream stand.
