New, plasma TV with cable and wireless internet, washer and dryer. 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double, 1 set bunk beds, single roll-away, and queen sofa bed. Front and rear deck with gas grill. No mountain driving or 4-wheel required to get here. Plenty off street parking. Children welcome. Inquire about pets. No smoking, please.

The Boone/Banner Elk area is a mecca for outdoor activities; from peaceful fly-fishing to white water rafting, gentle hiking trails to mountain climbing. Biking for fun or racing. Canoeing, kayaking, and swimming and horseback riding in the mountains. Close to Grandfather Mountain with its swinging bridge, zoo and museum. Nearby Tweetsie Railroad is a favorite family attraction. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway for scenic Fall color and beauty.

Winter skiing in 3 nearby locations and the cabin is located only 2 miles from Hawksnest Family Tubing Area.

Cutting the family Christmas tree at one of the nearby tree farms is a tradition for many family.

A cleaning fee, prorated on the number of bedrooms used and the number of nights stayed ranges from $40 to $125 per stay. A refundable security deposit of $100 will also be collected. Please inquire for current rates.
