The Maui Kamaole complex is a AAA 3-Diamond property, and is rated 4.5 stars by Tripadvisor reviewers. Amenities include 2 pool/recreation areas, including one with waterfall and sand-bottom tropical spa/hot tub, and gorgeous landscaped grounds.

Sandy Kamaole III Beach is across the street, and Wailea starts a couple of blocks away.

Our Maui Kamaole I205 is a gorgeous air conditioned 2-story ocean view unit. Total remodel including new kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, new bathrooms with granite counters and travertine, and new flooring throughout.

This ocean view unit offers spectacular sunsets and beautiful designer contemporary tropical furnishings. The upstairs master bedroom has a romantic king-sized Tommy Bahama canopy bed, the second bedroom has a queen canopy bed and has a very modern and luxurious feel.

 

Our fully air conditioned Maui Kamaole E202 features stylish designer furnishings and large flatscreen TVs in every room. This comfortable and contemporary garden view unit has a nice peek of the ocean.

We provide luxury Supima cotton linens, fluffy Egyptian cotton zero-twist towels, large beach towels, lightweight beach chairs with backpack straps, snorkel gear and fins in assorted sizes, tennis rackets, cooler, DVDs, family board games, Nintendo Wii, baby gear including PacknPlay portacribs and highchairs, and an abundance of thoughtful amenities to ensure your Maui vacation is a memorable one.

Wonderful place for a family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maui Kamaole I205. What a beautiful condo for the price and full of amenities. Our family stayed in Wailea, spent over twice as much and didn't have the extras that our condo had. With the new airline baggage regulations, it is really nice to not have to haul coolers, snorkel gear, towels, etc. Having them included with the condo is a very special treat. The beds were very comfortable (not too soft to us) and we loved the luxury linens in bedroom and bath. The only negatives we noticed at all were the uncomfortable chairs in the living room and the fact that the downstairs bedroom did not have AC. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. The location of Maui Kamaole is great and I205 is well located within the complex. We would highly recommend this unit and we have been to Hawaii 8 times now, staying at all different types of places.

We Would Absolutely Rent Here Again

Lovely, fully remodelled condo. My husband and I stayed here with our 5 month old and my mother-in-law. We also stayed in a 1 bedroom in the B building. We were much more impressed with I205.

The grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. We really enjoyed the tropical pool and hot tub. The property is in a nice location. Kihei is very central for touring around the island and there are tons of top recommend snorkelling and swimming beaches within 5-15 minutes drive (or just walk across the street).

PROS: Great sunsets every night from the lanai. We appreciated the playpen available for our baby daughter to sleep in. Way more extras than we expected: big bottles of Kirkland (Costco) shampoo, conditioner and body wash, blow dryers, tons of extra towels and bedding (including those specifically for baby) laundry soap, and almost everything you could want for the beach. The kitchen had spices, coffee filters, sugar etc. along with a "Welcome" gift of chocolate macadamias and other snacks. It's a nice touch. The condo is very clean.

CONS: The upstairs bed and pillows are REALLY soft (and high off the ground), which we found a bit uncomfortable. But it might be exactly what someone else likes. The staircases to get to the condo and up to the loft are quite steep, which might be a problem for a senior citizen or person with a disability. We really didn't mind them too much. Spice rack was a bit empty. Main floor bedroom has no air conditioning, only a fan, so it stays pretty warm in there at night.

Property managers were friendly and helpful. Overall, we felt this condo was well worth it. We hope to return next year!

Recommendations: Gannon's in Wailea has a wicked view and great breakfast. Paia Fish Market is fun. We liked the Aii Nui (Maui Dive Shop) snorkel cruise to Molokini - best fish we saw the entire trip, and the food and service are really good too. Check out the sea turtles by snorkelling to the right of the sand at Makena Landing. Try a surf lesson with Maui Wave Riders in Kihei. The instructors are great. I got up on my second wave!
