Need to get away?  Enjoy your stay in this 3 year old, 3700 square-foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home located on Hartwell Lake.  Located in an upscale community, this home will provide you with everything you will need for an unforgettable vacation.

The main floor is equipped with a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel commercial gas cook-top and appliances.  The open floor style with beam ceilings, stone fireplace and stone walls brings the warmth of the mountains and lake inside.  A flat screen high definition TV is located above the fireplace and is equipped with a DVD player, plug in for game systems and high speed internet service for those who need to stay in touch. 

A rear balcony and deck extend across the entire rear of the home and leads to a fenced in backyard for the convenience of young children. Relax on the rear balcony that is overlooking the lake in a rocker or a swivel chair with ottomans. Two bedrooms,  bath and game room are located on the lower level that opens up to a covered screened in porch and concrete patio.  The master bedroom is appointed with a king size bed and the other three bedrooms have a queen size bed.  A queen futon bed is located in the game room,and aero beds are available in the linen closet.

The city of Hartwell is only 5 minutes away with shopping at your fingertips.  Hartwell Marina and Gum Branch boat ramp are only minutes away by water.  Golf  and tennis may be scheduled at Cateechee Country Club, which is rated as one of the top public courses in Georgia and minutes away.  Atlanta is only
90 minutes away and 45 minutes to Greenville NC.  Additional shopping and restaurants are located in Anderson SC, just 20 minutes away.

Being a private home, you will find this get-a-way furnished and appointed in a way that you will feel right at home. A video library of over 100 movies is available with the newest releases. We can not imagine that you will need anything while visiting our home.

LOVED IT!!  Everything about this home is first-class and spectacular. It is a gorgeous, well-appointed luxury home - yet comfortable and inviting in every regard. From the granite counter tops in the huge, gourmet kitchen - to the oversized walk-in tiled shower - to the lake views from the large deck  - to the game room and screened porch on the lower level - everything was perfect. The pictures simply do not do it justice. The quality furnishings and many personal touches throughout (including fresh cut flowers in the bedrooms) made us feel very welcomed and were further evidence that this is indeed a very special place. We felt right at home from the first moment we walked in the door. The house had plenty of room for the eight of us (four couples on a golf weekend) to spread out and/or spend time together. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay or more helpful owners to work with. It was a wonderful getaway weekend and we are anxious to plan a return trip.   Susan W.

Since this is a private home you will find everything you need in this kitchen to prepare your favorite meals. Spices rack is also provided. You'll find an arrangement of sauce pans and skillets to the lobster kettle.
