Everything is fresh and new in this Chatham retreat, completely remodeled in 2008. You'll find hotel-like accommodations for three couples or a family, with all the comforts of home. The architect gave special attention to maximizing light, air, and surrounding views with his design. From the upstairs vaulted bedroom ceilings to the open plan downstairs, everyone can comfortably move through the house. The front and back decks expand the space and overlook beautiful landscaping and neighboring woods. In 9/08, 60 perennial plants and several trees were planted, providing color throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, TV, DVD, and radio/Ipod port. The master suite has a tempurpedic queen bed and full bath. The other two bedrooms can be made up as twin sets or king, and contain all new pillowtop mattresses with quality linens. Even beach towels are provided.
The upstairs bedrooms have a lofty feel with lots of windows and light, and we installed two separately zoned central air conditioning and heating systems (one up and one downstairs) for year round comfort. Our living room, with 2 six foot sofas, two comfy club chairs, and extensive library for all ages, makes a great room to entertain and enjoy a book or movie with a nice fire. This space flows into a brand new cook's kitchen, fully equipped with whatever you may need for any kind of feast.
We have created a true vacation getaway for all seasons, where groups can gather for fun and scatter for privacy. At every turn we have provided for our renters all those comforts that we ourselves enjoy. Once you have experienced Paul and Mary's Place, you'll never want to go anywhere else.

activities and attractions in Chatham Cape Cod
A seven to ten minute walk leads you to Forest Beach on Nantucket Sound for swimming, birding, and water sports. Go the other way and you'll be at the Box Office Cafe, the Cape Cod bicycle path and Highway 28. A five to ten minute drive takes you to the Cape Cod National Seashore and all kinds of beaches, ponds, and eateries. Forest Beach is popular for windsurfing and families with children, with plenty of room to either find solitude or socialize. Chatham is well located, in the "elbow" of the Cape, and it is an easy drive to Hyannis, Orleans, Wellfleet, and Provincetown. Chatham's most notable local beaches are Forest, Ridgevale, Harding's, and Lighthouse. There are numerous spring-fed, freshwater ponds in the area for a refreshing swim after a day in the sand. There is a public tennis court 1/2 block from our house, and several golf courses, both public and private, are a short drive away.
