Chateau de Villarlong in Aude

Château de Villarlong lies in the heart of Minervois, one of the most beautiful and famous landscapes of southern France. Situated between Carcassonne and the Mediterranean Coast, the beautiful old Château, which was built on the Roman base during the 15th Century, offers magical and luxurious holiday apartments at high stage.

The area of Château de Villarlong amounts approximately up to 1ha which includes plenty aspects that spark the interest in archaeological and historical residues of the Romans. Besides a Roman washhouse, a Roman fount and old Roman greenhouses, the guests have the unique chance to explore the beauty of the AOC- Minervois vineyards surrounding the Château. Moreover, the wonderful landscape and architecture of the nearby towns and villages offer a big variety for the whole family. Starting by the historic sites like the Cité of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the reams of Kartharer Castles, up to the “Route of St. James”.

Besides the historical attractions, Château de Villarlong offers its guests a spacious outdoor swimming-pool to relax and for sportive activities the tennis-court offers the perfect chance to work-out. Furthermore, the beautiful paths passing the Château lead you through olive groves, inviting you to take a walk or ride your bicycle.

Not to be forgotten: our domestic restaurant with beautiful garden terrace. Here you can feel at home, relax and enjoy delicious French food.

The Apartments 

All apartments have their own terrace, a wonderful living room with open fire-place, a modern, well-equipped kitchen, with dish washer, ceran hot plates, 1 - 3 romantic bedrooms, bathrooms.
Some of the apartments are designed with inspirations from Africa and Southeast Asia, other apartments are designed according to Mediterranean style.

Cour du Jardin Francais (Park Wing): For 2 pers. "Cabrespine". For 4 pers. "Lagarde". For 6 pers. "Puivert".
