Newly built apartment (500 sq. ft) above garage, with private entrance, has one bedroom w/queen size bed, full kitchen & living room, bathroom w/shower.  Access to a washing machine and private access to the beach and pool.

Location: Telchac Puerto, Yucatan, 45 minutes from Merida, 25 minutes from Progreso.

The apartment has a great ocean view and is perfect for a quiet get-a-way and long walks on the beach.   

We are located on the beach in the quaint fishing village of Telchac Puerto, on the Gulf of Mexico. Telchac has a variety of shops including grocery stores, bakeries, fresh fruits and vegetables markets, along with several restaurants.  There is also a medical clinic, tortilla factory, hardware store, taxis and bus services.

The restaurant, "OASIS", opened February 2010, is 2 blocks away.  It is owned and operated by Jake Roberts, from Toronto, and is open for breakfast and supper.

There is a cenote tour ($40 pesos), through the mangroves, 5 minutes away in San Crisanto.   Xcambo, a Mayan ruins ($ donation), is also just 5 minutes away.

Access to washing machine, private outside barbecue gas grill area, free wireless internet, television & DVD player.   Private access to beach and pool.

Fishing trips, sight seeing excursions, Mayan ruins, cenotes, shelling, beach walks, bird watching, nature preserves, boat rides, quaint towns and haciendas.

Telchac is 25 minutes from the port city of Progreso, (population 45,000) which has all the services of a larger city with a one-mile boardwalk and a port that accommodates cruise ships. Here there are larger grocery stores and banking.

The beautiful and historical city of Merida, (population 1 million), capital of the Yucatan, is approximately 45 minutes away. Merida has culture, history, hospitals, markets, museums, libraries and shopping (Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, and Home Depot).

The closest international airport is in Merida, approximately 55 minutes away. Cheaper flights are available to Cancun, where you can rent a car (cheaper online), or take a bus from Cancun Centro ($35.00 USD).  Cancun is a 4-hour drive using the well maintained toll road ($35.00 USD). 

Minimum rates apply from September Through May. Maximum rates apply from June through August.  Maximum rates include Christmas and Easter weeks also. Minimum stay of one week required.
