After searching for years for a second home at the beach, we found it here in the Del Mar Beach Colony. The walk to the beach was the selling feature!  It is a flat short walk to the sand of one of the finest beaches in Southern California (less than 100 yards).  Our beach is flat and very family friendly, with smaller waves near shore for the kids and larger waves out further for play and surfing.  Walk to the village for shopping and dining.  Our condo was gutted and remodeled in 2003.  We frequently stay there ourselves and constantly update and redecorate.  We have a queen bed in the master, two full beds in the second bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the front room.  There is room in the master for a child or two on the floor, if needed.  We have one assigned covered parking spot.  Second floor end unit with stairs and an elevator..

Wonderful BEACH!, walk to town, near by public tennis courts, close to all San Diego attractions, including Sea World and Legoland, 5-10 minute drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course (which hosts the Buick Invitational), 20 minutes to downtown San Diego, 50 minute drive to Disneyland

$500 security fee if paying w/check

We accept Visa for a small fee (no security deposit needed)

$100 cleaning fee, will split cleaning fee on extra cleanings during a longer stay

This is a great vacation rental. We spent 8 days at this condo and it was a wonderful experience. The condo is nicely kept and has everything you need. The beach is very close to the condo and going in the water with a sandy bottoms is a plus (no cuts on your feet from rocks). Living in Socal all our lives and visiting many local beaches this location is truly a nice find. The Del Mar community offers beautiful walks and the local "downtown' is only a enjoyable mile walk. We are hoping to make this condo our annual family vacation location for years to come. Thank you for sharing your dream.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

"Thank you! We had a great time during our stay at your condo. We found it well equipped, comfortable, & clean too! Your location is so convenient and allowed us to take advantage of the beach & sand toys-just what we wanted! This is the best experience we've had staying in San Diego."
