Isle of Porto Vista in Cape Coral

This is a brand new never lived in condominium in an upscale development in the Northeast Cape. The minute you drive over the cobblestone bridge and see the lush landscape at the gated entrance, you will feel like you entered another world.  Each building has three stories with barrel tiled roofs and wrought iron details.  The architect is Mediterrean and gives you the feeling of being in Italy. The Cape is actually called the Venice of America because of all the canals it has. Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath that is not far from the center of everything. Our condo is furnished in high end "New York" style furnishings. You will feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. We bought it thinking we would use it as our vacation home, but don't really get there much.

It has all the equipment and accessories you need to enjoy as your home away from home, no need to bring anything but your toothbrush. We even have two beach chairs for your enjoyable day at the fantastic Fort Myers Beach.

The Isles of Porto Vista is located right off of the Del Prado Extension off of Route 41. Route 41 will take you into downtown Fort Myers in minutes. You can also get to Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva beaches so easily. Not to mention Barefoot Beach and Lovers Key that were both mentioned on the Travel Channels Top 10 Beaches Show. Pine Island is also less than 30 minutes away with quaint shopping. Cape Coral also has a local beach with a concession stand to have lunch or dinner there. The first Wednesday of the month they also have the Sunset Celebration with vendors, music and the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen. The Southwest International Airport is less than 30 minutes away. Naples is about 45 minutes away and is a nice day trip with lots of antique and consignment shopping.

The community boasts an absolutely beautiful community room and resort style heated pool (winter months only). It also has a gym so there is no need to give up your fitness routine. The condo has a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with all the supplies you will need including a microwave. There is central air conditioning. Off of the living room is a lanai for your morning coffee or nightcap. All cooking utensils and small kitchen appliances are there for your enjoyment including a Keurig coffee maker. There also is an elevator if you prefer not to walk up the small flight of stairs. Each floor has their own lobby key. This makes the community very safe. No one except the 4 condos on each floor have the key to get into the lobby. Cable TV is provided by Comcast as is the telephone.

Of course, if you are a golfer you are in the right place. Golfing is very convenient with Coral Oaks, Royal Tee, Herons Glen, Del Tura, Lake Fairways, just to name a few. If the beach is your thing, boy, are you in the right place. Fort Myers Beach is a really nice beach with boardwalk shopping and restaurants. There is shopping all around the beach that is walking convenient. If shelling is something you like to do than don't miss the #1 beach for that, Sanibel. There is actually 250,000 species of shells that are along the beach. Shellers get out there bright and early to look for specific shells. If eating out is something you like to do, you will have to eat out everynight of the week and you probably still won't get to every restaurant in close proximity. You have the choice, sit by the pool, relax, workout or golf, go to the beach, eat out. If those things don't interest you, how about shopping. There is so much shopping, you will not know where to start. Speaking of shopping, FleaMasters Flea Market is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is something you shouldn't miss. All I can say is, wear sneakers.
