This newly built (2008) luxurious fully handicap accessible cabin is located in the quaint village of Alpine Arizona. This cabin contains 1870 spacious sq. ft. of living space. with 682 sq. ft. of exterior decking. The vaulted ceiling, rock fireplace, hickory cabinets, hickory flooring and granite counter tops contribute to the rustic elegance of this mountain getaway. Situated at the headwaters of the San Francisco River, the Alpine communty is surrounded by the beauty of the Apache-Sitgreaves National forest. The four distinct seasons of the cabin location offers something for everyone in this outdoor paradise, from quiet relaxation to a myriad of outdoor recreational activities.

Within a 20 minute drive there are 6 lakes and over 100 miles of running streams. Most are seasonally stocked with trout. 

Hiking - In the surrounding area, or drive only 12 short miles to the Escudilla Wilderness. This wilderness contains Arizona's third highest peak at 10,912 Ft. and many miles of prestine hiking trails.

Hunting - some of the state's best for Elk, Deer, Turkey & Big Horn sheep.

Snow Sking - Both cross country & down hill, within 45 minute drive to Sunrise Park Resort. (All are seasonal) Snowmobiling within minutes away.

 

 

vacation rental rates

$200.00 per night with a 2 night minimum except holidays. Holiday rate is $225.00 per night with a 3 or 4 night minimum.(Call for holiday dates.) Rate is based on the first six (6) people. There is a $15.00 charge for each additional person over the age of three (3) years old. A maximum of 10 people allowed. There is also a $250.00 refundable security deposit. Cleaning charge is $75.00

No pets without owner permission. No cats allowed. Approved pets are an additional $15.00 per pet per night. Rental agreement is required.

Beauitful cabin

WOW, this a very beautiful cabin. My family really enjoyed staying there, it's a lot better than trying to camp out somewhere. Being handicap in a wheelchair made my stay more comfortable being able to stay in a home that is accessible. I do plan in renting your home again in the future and every hunt my kids have in Alpine.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Better than expected

This was the best rental cabin I could find on the internet, and it exceeded my expectations. It felt very clean and new. We were impressed with the quality of the building and the attention to details in the finish work. It contained everything we needed: linens, paper products, full set of dishes, cookware and utensils. I have stayed at other rentals that tended to skimp on these items. Everything we needed to do was clearly marked with notes (thermostat, water heater, dryer, etc.) The owner was friendly and responsive. All of this made us want to be exemplary guests and do our best to treat the house well and be clean and responsible. SOme things that I didn't expect: privacy and woods despite being in a subdivision (no other lots on the street had yet been built on), handicapped accessible master bathroom with walk in shower, double wide hammock, very clean.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Perfect!

Located a mile out of town, your far enough away from anything to enjoy the deep quite of the woods yet close enough to all the amenities of town so you will lack nothing. The cabin is fresh and new. Rustic in feel but with all the modern conviencenes one could ask for. New beds, huge fully equiped kitchen, gigantic master bedroom shower, 10ft opening on the automatic garage door, fine furnishings, beautiful wood flooring, large covered front and back porches, 4 satellite TV's, big gas grill in back, and on and on and on.

If your a family looking for some easy adventure, the quite type looking for a peaceful place to relax or a large group (up to 10) looking for a place to center a hunting, fishing, or hiking trip, I haven't yet seen a better place.

And don't let the press scare you. Yes, the Wallow fire did do terrible damage to the surrounding forest, but most of it it completely untouched. The burn was spotty enough and located in the more remote sections to leave way more than enough to provide everything the area has always been known for.

The property owner is easygoing and a snap to get ahold of with any questions. I would highly recommend this property for anytime of the year. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but once I got there I realized I got much more than what I expected. A fantastic value for a wonderful cabin!
