Beachy Keen Pet Friendly Barrier Dunes Great Views! in Cape San Blas

Look at the bottom of our description for a photo by photo explanation!  Beachy Keen is a great 2-bedroom, 2-bath Condo in Barrier Dunes, just outside the State Park.  Overlooking the tennis courts and the interior pool, Beachy Keen is just 150 steps from the beach and has a gulf view from the downstairs bedroom and balcony!    Pet friendly, your dog is our welcomed guest.  Barrier Dunes features convenient pet stations and lots of great areas to walk your dog!  Beachy Keen has tile floors throughout, for easy care and cleanup during your vacation.  Focus on fun and family in this cheerful, comfortable townhome!

The ground level features parking for two vehicles, the guest beach closet with beach chairs and beach cart, a ground-level wooden deck and enclosed shower with hot and cold water.  Also provided are hoses for washing sandy feet, paws and cars with ease.

The first floor has a queen bedroom with tv and dvd player, a private balcony with views of the gulf, a full bathroom, our completely stocked kitchen, and our living room with queen sleeper sofa.  TV, stereo and DVD player.  The main-level deck overlooks the tennis courts and interior pool.  Comfortable patio furniture, a gas grill with backup propane tank, and pet/child gates on the main level make it a great place to relax during your vacation!

The second level is almost completely devoted to the master suite.  A king bed, computer desk, tv and dvd player are featured.  Private balcony with great sunrise, pool and tennis views.  His and hers vanities and a separate bathroom with garden tub and separate shower  and huge walk-in closet complete the master suite.    Also available on this level is your full-sized laundry room with washer and dryer.

Barrier Dunes is a gated community just outside the state park.  There are two swimming pools (the one Beachy Keen overlooks is solar powered for extended swimming in springtime and fall).  There's also lighted tennis courts for your enjoyment just off your back deck!  Limited availability for "first-come, first-served" boat parking.  The gulf-front pool has a clubhouse with restrooms.  Three boardwalks go to the beach, and the closest one to Beachy Keen is just 150 steps from your front door.

Photo 1 is looking from the interior pool across the tennis courts to our townhome, Beachy Keen.  We are the center townhome in the building directly in the center of the photo.

Photo 2 is looking back the opposite direction.  This is taken from the upstairs master bedroom balcony and looks over the tennis courts back to the pool.  This pool is solar powered so it's going to be available earlier in the spring and later in the fall than the gulf-front pool.

Photo 3 looks from the kitchen toward the living room.  The sofa is a queen sleeper.  outside the sliding glass doors is the main-level deck with patio furniture and a gas grill.  We also have pet/child gates on that deck.

Photo 4 looks from the living back through the dining area to the kitchen.  Seating for four at the table and three barstools.  Fully stocked kitchen for your convenience.

Photo 5 is of the master bedroom with the glass doors opening onto your private balcony overlooking the tennis courts and pool.  This is a very large and comfortable room, with his and hers vanities, walk-in closet, a separate bathroom area with garden tub and walk-in shower.

Photo 6 is of the downstairs queen bedroom.  The sliding glass doors open onto the private balcony that has a nice distant gulf view. 

Photo 7 is of the beach at Barrier dunes, looking back toward the complex. The gazebo directly behind the umbrella is 150 steps from Beachy Keen.

Beach Chairs, Beach Cart, Tennis rackets, free high-speed internet, 3 TVs, 3 dvd players, cordless phones, answering machine, crock pot, coffee pot and backup coffee pot, blender and backup blender, spice rack, ample supplies of glassware and dishes.  Linens and towels provided, including pet towels.  All you need to bring are beach towels.  Movie library, games and puzzles also available for your enjoyment.

In the evening, head down to the beach (2 minutes away) and enjoy the sunset.  Most nights someone will build a bonfire and you can join in and watch the stars or make 'smores.

Visit Cape San Blas Lighthouse, St. Vincent's Wildlife Preserve, tour Apalachicola or shop in Port St. Joe.  Panama City is just 45 minutes away, with shopping malls and movie theaters.  Golf at the St. Joseph's Country Club, just 15 minutes from Barrier Dunes.  Rent a boat or a kayak and explore beautiful St. Joe Bay.
